Sire: Our Peruvian Schurzo
31495622<--ari-->White<--color-->Peruvian - A proven herdsire Schurzo carries on the breeding traditiion of his father Augusto. In his offspring he has passed on the luster, brightness, density, and staple length one would expect from Augusto genetics. His merino type fiber is characterized by high-frequency/low amplitude crimp that readily bundles.

Dam: Cappuccina
31495622<--ari-->Dark Brown<--color-->Cappy is an easy keeper and produces beautiful, ribbon winning Cria. Our first foundation female who has produced colored crias, even when bred to white. Her fleece is staying soft, with a medium amplitude crimp, good density and long staple. She has bay black feet and face along with a deep coffee color at the skin. She has remained soft with a mid/upper-20's micron to her dark fleece and still good staple length while producing crias.
Her sire, My Peruvian Blakely, is a multi-grand champion winner from Magical Farms and her dam is a Matador daughter, which makes Cappuccina heir to some of the best black genetics in the country!
She gave us two female crias in a row! The first was dark fawn by a white sire (see Joya's listing) and the 2nd was a white (see Cream N Sugar) from another white sire (he produced five white/light crias for his first season). Both daughters did well in the show ring - always in the ribbons, even in the white classes! Cappy is a terrific mom - unassisted births, lots of milk, easy keeper. Her last cria in August 2012 was a beautiful dark brown / bay black male from a dark fawn champion! He has beautiful crimpy bundles of fleece with better than average density.

Service Sire: Providence Joseph of Carondelet
31495622<--ari-->Medium Rose Grey<--color-->Joseph is producing crias with some intense fleece. With Dom Lucilio and MFI Black Mesquite in his background, his first crias are exciting and exceptional.
With Blue Ribbon fleece and conformation, Joseph is an up and coming super stud. If you are looking for confidence, color, and conformation, this is your herdsire. <--description-->
Description
Joya means "jewel" and she just produced one! A little girl on 6/5! Joya has Dark colored, well-known genetics! First 3 crias were outstanding! Price reduced since she's closely related to our core herd. Easy keeper - great dam!
Just got our fiber tests back for 2014 - she's holding at 23.1 micron at age 6 and expecting cria #4 soon!
============================================
Joya's last female cria was sired by Goldrush's Stone Cold Stunner- Lots of well known foundation alpacas in his pedigree: Victor's Hemiaccoyo Casanova (sire of Aussie 38 Special & Aussie Guns N Roses), Emerald Farm's Stone Cloud, Victor, and Danko. He's modern dark rose gray and received a reserve color championship at age 6.5 months! Outstanding fineness and density, with micro bundling of crimpy fiber.
This girl has it all! Bright, dense, crimpy bundles of dark fawn fleece with the genetics, confirmation and attitude to back it up! Joya (pronounced as Hoya, means "Jewel" in spanish) carries the Peruvian genetics of Augusto, My Peruvian Blakely (who was a grandson of Caligula & Pperuvian Leon), and Matador. She has soft bundles of high-amplitude crimp from her neck to her flank that are maintaining a nice hand into adulthood.
Joya was shown as an older juvenile but still had her cria tips and 5-6" staple length with the late spring humidity which didn't show the best. She did well in the fall, placing just behind the top of the class.
Joya has delivered her crias un-assisted and has been a very good dam - plenty of milk, easy to work around, attentive mom. Joya sells as a bred female; her 2014 female cria is reserved.
