Very few males qualify for our Herdsire Hall of Fame. They must have superior genetics, extraordinary fleece, and a caliber of overall quality that will ensure exceptional offspring. With impressive pedigree, phenomenal fiber, and the judge's nod, Peruvian Titan's Clash made the cut. Titan's Clash is full Peruvian and 3/4 Accoyo, sired by 6Peruvian Accoyo Titan with PPPeruvian Dracula as maternal grandsire. Titan's Clash has lived up to the marked potential he showed as a cria and yearling, catching the judges's eye - and the winning ribbon to go with it in the show ring. Perfect conformation makes him beautiful to behold, and his disposition makes him an ideal herdsire for easy breeding. After purchasing Titan's Clash we made the decision not to offer breedings until after we proved him out here on the farm. We are happy to say his crias have started hitting the ground and they are nothing short of extraordinary, proving Titan's Clash has earned his place in our Herdsire Hall of Fame. His son, ELK Titan's Clash's Machito is a 9x Champion and 2010 MAPACA Judges Choice and has started his breeding career. His daughter, ELK Dream Girl sold the 2010 Breeders Edge Auction for $46,000 to Conno-Quin Alpacas at only 6 mos of age. His son, ELK Titan's Clash American Bounty owned by Foggy Bottom Farms, LLC has his first cria on the ground. It is hard to belive that Clash is now a grandsire. Titan's Clash is a great cover-all male and his progeny are extremely consistent. We are anxiously awaiting the first Clash/Matrix cross in October 2011. Snowmass Apotheosis is the gorgeous 8-time Champion and Get of Sire winning son of Snowmass Matrix Majesty - the 2013 and 2014 Dark Herdsire of the Year. He is a beautiful dark brown male with perfect conformation and extremely fine fleece that carries density, uniformity, brightness and amazing coverage. As the grandson of Snowmass Matrix and Snowmass Legacy Gold, his lineage is stacked with names like Snowmass Quechua, Snowmass Accoyocusani, 4Peruvian Legacy, 5Peruvian Chaccu and PPPeruvian Augusto, and it shows. Snowmass Apotheosis has had several crops of crias born here at Foggy Bottom, and to say that he has been impactful in our breeding program, would be a gross understatement. His offspring are stunning. They are exhibiting the amazing fleece characteristics that the Quechua line has become known for: the combination of elite fineness and uniformity throughout while sacrificing nothing in density.
