For example, check out the histograms on sons Tuscan's Maestro, Tuscan's Semper Fi, Tuscan's Perfect Storm, all below 20 micron so far at 2 to 3 years of age. And uniformity is also in histogram mix. But a great herdsire is really measured by his offspring, and has Tuscan delivered! He stamps his babies with remarkable consistency for fine, well organized and crimpy fleece with his signature brightness on a beautifully balanced frame with good bone, extremely typey heads, complete leg coverage and his unmistakable presence. These babies have earned several Get of Sire awards for Tuscan Gold and several Breeders Best Three awards for Bella Vita Ranch. Our client list for Tuscan Gold offspring includes prestigious and discriminating farms such as Snowmass Alpacas, AL Pacas, Safe Haven Farm, Red Granite Ranch, Snow Diamond Alpacas and others. Judges have also bred to Tuscan Gold, so he has that stamp of approval from those who should know! Tuscan descends from the award winning MFI Brock line which has produced multiple champion Tuscan siblings. Amazing Grace is a lovely lady who joined our foundation herd as a yearling in the fall of 2006. She is the daughter of CPeruvian Accoyo Express, one of the few offspring (only 5 registered in the US) and only male offspring of Accoyo Albus who was exported to England, thus making this a valuable and rare bloodline in the USA. Grace was chosen for our herd because of her fine, medium fawn fleece and color genetics to compliment our males, Tuscan and Corazon`. Accoyo Express has produced Color Champion offspring in just about every color class and was the foundation male that put Irish Meadows Farm on the map, just as Tuscan Gold has done for us. Grace is tall and pleasing to the eye with a balanced frame, sweet face and gentle personality. She has placed well in the ribbons at the shows and went back to Brookhollow Farm for breeding to Snowmass Nova in 2007, which produced Nova's Novena, another medium fawn female in our foundation herd. Bred to Tuscan, Grace has produced medium fawn Amber Wave (sold at AOBA show and a blue ribbon girl), light fawn Grazie, purchased by Snowmass Alpacas at the 2011 Futurity auction, her stunning 2012 cria, med fawn Princess Grace, another blue ribbon girl and sold at the 2014 Amber Autumn auction to the Jarvis' in Canada, a 2013 a gorgeous medium fawn male cria, Honey Bear, and in 2014 a white male, Zeus, by Zen Master. Grace was a fine 17 micron juvenile and 19.9 micron yearling. She had good density and coverage of fleece. Grace has been rebred to Tuscan Gold for a 2015 cria (I need to verify this when I find my breeding sheet). She is a perfect reproduction female, easily gets pregnant, maintains her pregnancies, and is a very attentive mother to her crias with plenty of milk production to sustain them. She is one of the gentlest alpacas on our ranch, and we will retain Honey Bear to carry on the genetics.
