Starsky began breeding in 2013 and has 9 crias registered, of which eight are females. Please take a moment and research his offspring on Alpaca registry search. You will see the cria colors and the color of the dams. You will find when bred to black he produced MSG all three times. With his bloodline and then producing females, give us a call and we will be happy to share a fiber sample with you. Since the previous owner's time constraints kept them from showing Starsky, we entered his fleece in various spin offs around the country, we are pleased with the results. Starsky's Sire is Snowmass Enlightenment -MRG (Stud Fee $4,500.00), Snowmass XXXtreme-LB, Snowmass Royal Rose-MF, Snowmass Peruvian Casanova-MRG. (Starsky looks like Casanova with that signature black beard!) His mom is a Chilean import Azapa 145-MB. Azapa was retired after Starsky was born and we believe this makes him even more special. You are enjoying our " Winnie" and I continue to see what an amazing female she is growing up to be. Winnie as she is known on the farm is 1/2 sister on the Dam side to our amazing herdsire Michelangelo's Duke of Wakeman. So who is this adorable little female? Her name is "Winnie" and she is something special! She came into the world on June 7, and was up nursing within minutes and has not looked back! Absolutely an adorable female that wears a tight crimp structure fleece that carries fineness, cute as a button, and conformation is right where it should be for her age. We had her shorn on 6/29/2014 and she is simply stunning in her coloring. So the only dilemma is what color is she? I think she is bay black, our shearer, Lorilee saw grey in her legs and on her tail....dark rose grey...I don't know so I am calling her bay black! When we bred Wellington to our Starsky by Snowmass Enlightenment, we were hoping for a cria that was comparable to Wellington's son, our herdsire Michelangelo's Duke of Wakeman, well this little girl reminds us of Duke when he was just a month old. Jackpot!! Her bloodline includes: 4Peruvian Royal Condor-TB, Snowmass Enlightenment -MRG, Snowmass XXXtreme -LB, Snowmass Royal Rose- MF, Snowmass Peruvian Casanova- MRG.
