Have you met Duke? He creates Champions!! Duke did not enter the show ring until he was 18 months of age, on September 26, 2009 in Michigan. Under Wade Gease, Wade said "this male is a rarity..the "TOTAL" total package" Duke was awarded First Place and Reserve Color Champion (staple length is what separated champ and reserve)!!! The following week, Duke's second show at the Indiana Heartland Classic, he brought home the Blue Ribbon again! Duke's third show in November at OABA in Columbus, OH, Duke took second place behind Magical Farms, a PC Running Late Son, great company to be in I would say. Jude Anderson, Judge said "this guy is the total package" words we had heard before! 2011 AOBA National Fleece Spin Off....1st Place in a class of 11. RESULTS ARE IN "JUDGE CHOICE" HIGHEST SCORING DARK FLEECE, 1ST PLACE AT EMPIRE FLEECE SPIN OFF...DUKE JUST CONTINUES TO GET BETTER AND BETTER...IS IT TIME TO COME AND MEET DUKE! DUKE FIRST PLACE AT 2010 AOBA NATIONALS FLEECE SPIN OFF. DUKE FIRST PLACE WITH HIGHEST POINTS. Bloodline: his Sire El Nino's Accoyo Michelangelo, PCA Accoyo El Nino, PPeruvian Caligula, 4 Peruvian Royal Condor ( His Dam Duchess Wellington I is still with us on our farm, come and meet her!) Duke's is wearing fleece that is dark chocolate rich brown, dense, tactile crimp and fine. What a combination. He is straight, big boned, conformation perfection, and stunning to look at, gorgeous with his black points.

Description

So who is Duke of Wakeman's Sir Louie? A stunning maroon dark brown color champion that reads like a who's who on an alpaca registry certificate. When I showed Louie for the owners (Color Your Herd) Diane Timmerman's comments were "consistent crimp from head to tail with a fineness not normally found in this dark of an alpaca". Sir Louie has amazing balance as he glided across the showring with a presense that said "yes I am here", a stunning Michelangelo's Duke of Wakeman son and I was so proud to be on the lead! Sir Louie's crimp is tight and feels like butter, consistent, and density to match, if you are looking for a stunning dark brown herdsire look no further than Sir Louie. His sire is our own Michelangelo's Duke of Wakeman-DB (restricted from outside breedings, stud fee $2500.00), El Nino's Accoyo Michelangelo-LF, PCA Accoyo El Nino-W, PPeruvian Caligula-W, 4Peruvian Royal Condor-TB..that is just the Sire's side. Sir Louie's Dam is Secret's Peruvian Cactus Blossom-MB, Sired by MFI Peruvian Cactus Jack-MB (stud fee $3,500.00), Jeronimo-BG, SA Accoyo Royal Avenger-LF, CPeruvian Silvio-MSG, PPPeruvian Royal Fawn-MF, 6Peruvian Royal Gold-LF so you can see this Dam is amazing on her own. Togther Duke and Blossom created a Color Champion in Sir Louie. Why are the owners selling such an amazing male? They own Mom and had purchased a breeding to Duke prior to him going restricted. If Sir Louie does not fit your budget, the owners are offering introductory breedings of BOGO for $1,200.00. (This is a drive by price) The pictures were taken by me today, Janaury 10, 2013. Want his fleece sample, I would be honored to send it right out! Your girls.... their Sir Louie, these bloodlines all wrapped up in a Color Champion...let's talk!
