AWARD: 2005 "RESERVE HERDSIRE OF THE YEAR" THE ALL AMERICAN FUTURITY! First time in the Futurity with his first CHAMPION WINNING OFFSPRING! This gorgeous Accoyo/Peruvian heritaged, male huacaya, has turned the tide of the show ring community by winning a Blue ribbon under age 1 year at the AOBA national and Color Champion of his class just after turning one year at the Ohio show. Now he has 10 Color Championship wins (including the National show AOBA 2002 and MAPACA 2003and PAOBA 2003!)and the accolades keep coming from one Judge to another. Zephyrus, is dense, has high amplitude crimp, and has buttery, soft to handle fleece. He is typey from his head to his fetlocks and has stature one only hopes for in their alpaca herd. ZEPHYRUS IS THE ONE! His cria are on the ground and are fabulous! He even throws black when bred to black! His first 10 show cria have all won COLOR CHAMPIONSHIPS or Blue Ribbons in their first shows 2005( Sunset Hills Zepplin, Sunset Hills Zeus, Sunset Hills Z-Breeze, Sunset Hills Sanibel, Zeph's Cormorant, Sunset Hills Zodiac, Sunset Hills Zenith, Sunset Hills Z-Breeze, Sunset Hills Tibet, Sunset Hills Lion King)and more... Congrats to the new owner of Faith Jody Schnurrenberger!!! Come see me with my cria at the Breeders Edge Auction, August 23 2014...Lot 65 http://www.breedersedge.info/lot_65.php Now this is a beautiful girl!!! She has a lovely crimpy fleece with EXTREME density. She also has a strong and sturdy frame and a beautiful head to die for! This gorgeous girl's sire, Craftsman, is a full Accoyo white 6X Champion who had a fabulous show career and Faith is following in his footsteps. Once her cria fleece was sheared off she went on to take three straight blue ribbons and to top it off she was awarded the color championship at the 2011 Carolina Alpaca Celebration Show!! Her cria at side is out of Sunset Hills Andean Gold who is a multi-halter Champion who has won many top ribbons for his fleece as well, including the prestigious, “Spirit of the Fiber Industry Award” winning over every other colored fleece at the 2006 AOBA Nationals. An even more impressive feat is that Andean took the brown color championship along with Judges Choice award at the 2011 Buckeye Show at almost 9 years of age. Now that's what you call lingering fineness and crimp structure. He is undoubtedly one of the finest fibered herdsires from Sunset Hills farm...and that's saying something! (Andean Gold's 2012 micron is 21.8-3.6-16.6-2.7....Amazing numbers for a breeding male that is all most 10 years old!!!) And finally to top it off Faith is currently bred to Elite Legend son, 7 X Champion Snowmass Silent Legend for a summer 2015 cria. Don’t miss out on this Champion laden 3 in 1 package.

Description

In 2011 I was blessed with my first niece who is named Sabrina, and what better way to celebrate one of my favorite little people by naming one of my favorite alpaca's Zabrina. Zabrina is developing into a wonderful female and it's no surprise due to her tremendous genetic background. She has great confirmation, coverage, and her fleece is quite fine but her biggest strength is her exceptional density. Knowing how well Zabrina's sire Zephyrus did producing all colors, I've decided to go dark with her next breeding. I've decided to bred her to multi banner winning Interceptor who is known to put exceptional fineness on his offspring...And match that with Zabrina's exceptional fleece qualities, this cria should be an excellent addition to my, or anybodies herd!!
