Santana's Gabriella-SOLD
Alpaca, Huacaya, Bred (Female) | Medium Brown
AOA #834415 | DOB: 9/17/2001 (23 yrs)
Sire: 5Peruvian Santana

It was with great sadness that we had to say good-by to our first herdsire, 5Peruvian Santana. It closes a chapter in our history that provided the foundation for our business. Santana was our first herdsire purchase and singlehandedly started our breeding business. We grew up with him and will always appreciate the impact he had on our efforts throughout the years. He leaves behind a legacy of banner winning cria and herdsires with well respected programs.
Santana has passed the test with three different judges awarding him first or second in his halter class (large classes, we might add!) Even without his commanding presence, his fiber has been regarded as exceptional with a 2nd Place in the 2002 AOBA National Conference Fleece Show and a 1st Place in the 2003 and 2004 AOBA fleece shows! His histograms represent his consistency in longterm quality. He has uniform, dense fiber with loads of fine, high frequency crimp. His presence in the field shows the pride and conformation that made him stand out in the East Coast's two biggest shows. Combined with his limited background in North America, he is a valuable addition to any farm's genetics. We love his rich mahogany color that may been responsible for his ability to produce black and rose grey. Contact us for a fiber sample and additional photos. Cria on the ground are everything you would expect from a first class herdsire. (Black from grey dams, brown from a white dam, and bay black from a brown dam). Santana has produced his own First Place winners at the AOBA National Conference and the Eastern Alpaca Jubilee. His offspring also include Color and Reserve Color Champions, most notably Sunset Hills Andean Gold, Sunset Hills top herdsire and a Color Champion even at 5 years old! Santana is one of our "originals", but his latest yearling daughter just earned two Blue Ribbons...he's still got what it takes!

Bruno is an extremely handsome macho as you would expect coming from genetic royalty like his legendary sire, El Nino, and having more legends as grandsires and great grandsires like Caligula, Hemingway-Accoyo Nautilus, and Vengador. As you can see, this boy is STACKED with powerhouse genetics!! Bruno is a limited edition with the passing of his sire. There are some other El Nino sons out there but not many are for sale and the others have stud fees ranging from $2,000-7,000! As you can see, Bruno is quite a steal!! Speaking of Bruno's studly duties, you won't have to worry about anything as he is happy to breed and has lovely cria on the ground already. MOST ARE FEMALE!
Bruno isn't just a power packed studly-do-rite!!! He also offers his wonderful fleece year after year!! His fleece is dense with uniform crimp along the entire staple length. He also offers wonderful fineness with an 18.1 AFD/4.2 SD/ 23.2 CV/ 98.9% CF. You can see it doesn't stop there, he has complete coverage and a gorgeous head...it is such a shame that his owners couldn't get this boy out to shows!! Luckily it is the genetics that make the nice cria and not the ribbons on the wall!!
Your breeding investment is protected with our 100% Satisfaction Guarantee! If the cria isn't what you would want for your breeding program, we will rebreed your female for free!!
Bruno is also available for lease or partial ownership opportunity! I am planning on focusing more on the greys & blacks and Bruno is to nice to not get more girlfriends than he will see here!!! Please feel free to message/call/text me for more information!!

Description
Gabriella is a beautiful, award winning, proven mom. As you can see in her photos, Gabby has a beautiful head with a short muzzle and full topknot with loads of face fiber. Her proportions are beautiful with a short, compact body.
Her fiber is very dense and fine and her crimp is wide amplitude and high frequency. Her coloring is a rich mahogany/maroon color that is scrumptious! Even at 11 years old her fleece is crimpy and fine and is making beautiful yarn. Make sure you look at her 2012 histogram!!!! Lasting Fineness in maroon!!!!
Gabby is sired by 5Peruvian Santana, an award winning herdsire at Highland Alpacas, and she is half sister to many Champion and ribbon winning alpacas including Sunset Hills Farm Andean Gold as well as many others!
Gabriella is easy to breed and an easy birther, a great mom with loads of milk for healthy babies.
Her first cria, FCA Caballero sired by Highland Alpaca's Lochnivar won a blue ribbon and was sold as a junior herdsire at 4 months of age. Gabby's second cria, a medium fawn female, Isabella, sired by the Color Champion Maximus is fabulous!
6-15-12 Gabby delivered a handsome boy that is almost identical to Gabby! Pix coming soon! Gabby's price will increase once she is rebred! Buy her now and save...and pick out her boyfriend! Her cria at side is even included for a limited time!
Gabby has just been bred to our Color Champion and girl maker, Black Ryder! This should be a BEAUTIFUL cria given both parents beautiful and colorful fiber, awesome conformation and presence, and award winning genetics! UPDATE! Check out her BEAUTIFUL girl Tiffany!! She is a keeper!!
I have reduced Gabby's price while she is early in her pregnancy. Take advantage of the savings while you can!!!! Her price will increase as her pregnancy progresses. I only have her on sale as I am keeping her daughter Tiffany and I also co-own her son Rocky. We just have a small herd so I have to make some of moves. She is currently bred to El Nino's Bruno who is a real genetic powerhouse with GORGEOUS fiber!! As with all of Gabby's babies...it should be another BEAUTY!!! :D
Pedigree Sneak Peak: 5Peruvian Santana, Peruvian King
Gabby is also available for lease! For just $1,000 you can either claim Gabby's cria that she is carrying or pick her next herdsire and get that cria. Lease fee includes stud fee and cria!
Congratulations Becky!! You have a wonderful start to a beautiful herd!!
