Andre holds a special place in our hearts as he was one of the first herdsires we brought to our farm. Terry and Suzie Hart purchased Andre a few years ago and are now making him available in hopes of downsizing. For his low asking price Andre will reward you many times over!! Snowmass Alpacas are admired worldwide for their elite breeding program. Andre's sire is Snowmass Snow King, a multi champion herdsire who is also an Accoyo Augusto son. Reading about Snow King on the Snowmass website made me feel very lucky to have the opportunity to bring Andre to our farm and offer him as a herdsire. Snow King's awards include 2000 CABA: 1st Place & Champion White Male 2001 AOBA National Alpaca Show: 1st Place & Reserve Champion White Male. Snowmass Snow King is part of the NAAS, a small group of elite herdsires that recently had the 50% ownership bought out for $950,000! His bloodline is elite in quality and not widespread as Snow King hasn't been available for open outside breeding. Andre's half sister Snowmass Olympic Bells, just sold at the Snowmass auction for $53,000! Not only does Andre have a wonderful father but his mother has also proven her value as a producer of winners in winning Produce of Dam at CABA 2000 and has maintained a micron count of 18.7 at 4 years of age! Fineness seems to run in his family though...Snow King maintains a micron of 22.8 at 4 years of age and his mother Flamboyant had a 16.8 at 3 years! Andre's fiber is wonderfully dense and has strong bold crimp, extreme brightness, and excellent lock structure. He is also full Peruvian & 1/4 Accoyo. His presence is very proud and macho. Andre's fiber is consistently baby fine, in 2002 Andre's micron was 17.7 and his results from his 2005 shearing show 18 microns and a CF of 99.5%!

Candy is a sweet and mellow female. Her first cria, "Finnian," arrived without assistance and weighed in at 13 pounds. Very bright white, strong and perky. Candy has a nice handle, solid structure, and great maternal instincts.
