Chino is a National Blue Ribbon winning blend of quality Chilean and Peruvian bloodlines. Chino's father, Polaris, was a Blue Ribbon winner at CABA 1999. Polaris' sire is the legendary Hemingway and his dam is Ppperuvian Impatiens who won Produce of Dam at CABA 2000. Chino's own dam Mia, was originally from Alpacas de la Patagonia and was chosen for her exceptionally strong, straight conformation and her glossy blue-black fleece. His dam Mia's sire is MacIntosh. Macintosh, (owned by Pacific Crest Alpacas) is well known for winning 5 first place ribbons in the 1996 AOBA National Fleece Show, including Black Huacaya 1st Place, Best Luster, Spinner's choice and Cottage Industry's Choice. Learn more about Chino's bloodlines at his webpage- http://alpacasofalagaesia.com/Chino.htm Chino's dense fiber is cobweb fine with an unbelievable micron count of 14.4 (YES, I REALLY said 14.4!!!) and a CF of 100% and this is all from his second shearing at over 1 and a half years old! He has coverage from his toes up to that cute fuzzy face and also has nice vicuna style crimp all the way up into his top knot and his fiber even has great bundling! Just when you think his fiber can't get much better...it DOES! Part his fleece and you can see wonderful brightness which helps add to his very luxurious feel. Chino is "refining" our fleeces with his exceptional vicuna style fineness! He is throwing phenotype in addition to the wonderful fiber to give you ADORABLE AND fine cria! Chino's cria are rich with beautiful color, with cria from light fawn to dark brown, maroon, and even silver grey! No matter the color, he is stamping all of his cria with crimpy, fine and bright fiber! Even in the darkest of colors Chino is prepotent in passing on his ROYAL FINENESS! Check out his offspring Heartbreaker (15.8 AFD Dark Brown) and Ebony Masterpiece (16.6 AFD in True Black)!!! Chino is the hidden treasure here at Alagaesia! We wouldn't give him up for the world but are willing to share these awesome qualities with you and your herd. We have discounted Chino's stud fee again this year to help our fellow alpaca farms out (and CHINO too!). His stud service pricing is only $1,500 for 2015! We offer a 100% guarantee with purchased breedings to our herdsires. If you are not 100% satisfied you can breed back for FREE!!! Do you have a ribbon winning female? Then you qualify for EXTRA DISCOUNTS!!!!!

We are very excited to welcome Raindrop to our herd and we can't thank Don & Nancy Schell enough for letting her come to us! She is a very sweet girl with gorgeous, dense, black and crimpy fiber! Nancy has shown Raindrop and her fiber and the judges agree she is a special girl by awarding her ribbon after ribbon! Raindrop has a colorful background with a lot of True Black behind her and a little silver grey and fawn too! Quality is abundant as her sire, RO Centurion Magic is a Reserve Champion and his sire is none other than THE 4Peruvian Black Magic! Raindrop's maternal side produces quality as well. Her half brother, Medallion's Ebony Magic, is a 2X Color Champion Black boy who also has lovely, dense, and fine fiber (20.8 micron!) with great crimp to the tips. Raindrop's mother is 16 and STILL sporting a BLACK fleece with a 26.4 micron! WOW!...not many can say that! Update! Raindrop was chosen to be JUDGE'S CHOICE Huacaya fleece at TXOlan 2010! OH YAH! Raindrop has proven herself against the competition at shows and now she is proving herself as an excellent dam producing cria with even better fiber qualities than she has! First black cria Ebony Masterpiece (sired by Chino)- 16.6 AFD/ 3.6 SD/ 21.8 CV/ 1.1% .30 Second black cria Raining Black Magic (sired by Black Ryder)-20 Micron / 4.7 SD / 23.6 CV / 19.9 spin factor She will be a true asset to any program breeding for color. She is with our program but as I have so much from her in my small herd, I am making Raindrop available. Pedigree Sneak Peak: RO Centurion Magic, 4Peruvian Black Magic, Ppperuvian Sarah (also dam to Peruvian Choco), SA Ebony Lace I have Raindrop available for lease for $1,000 either for the cria she is carrying or her next breeding.

Description

WOW! Raindrop's first cria has arrived and he is certainly living up to our high expectations so far! He has tight & bright curls EVERYWHERE and I can't find his skin! He has the face of an angel and we can't wait to watch this little guy in the coming months and watch the magic happen! At 3 weeks old his fleece is growing in AWESOME!!!!!!!!!! Crimp, Brightness, Fineness, & NO guard hair visible at all!!! We expected nothing short of spectacular pairing Raindrops gorgeous, award winning fleece with Chino's awesome award winning fleece. We got everything we had hoped for and more!!! Although this boy is young now, we are confident he will have a strong future refining fleeces for your colored herd when his time comes!!! At 6 weeks old I have trimmed off his cria coat to reveal a glossy black fleece with mega-crimp!!! He also has rolling skin all the way up his neck. It will be interesting to see if he has the soft rolling skin as he ages!!! Bloodlines include Hemingway, MacIntosh, & Black Magic I would be open to trading for an unrelated black male with the same qualitites. We have Ebby's mom, dad, aunt, cousins, etc! This is our best line but I do have a lot of it!! LOL!!
