HuacayaHerdsire (Male)Medium Rose Grey
AOA# 824895DOB: 9/5/199925 yrs
Candalero has a lot to offer your females and your breeding program. Candy is an extremely macho and proud Rose Grey herdsire that has proven to pass his dense fleece and excellent fiber character to his cria. The colors of his cria have ranged from rose grey, maroon, & fawn to beige and white. Candalero is a blue ribbon winner for his gorgeous fleece ( at 4 years old! ) and his fleece is always quick to sell. His fleece is fine as he ages, even at 10 years old it makes silky soft yarn! Candalero also has a rare trait called soft rolling skin which is only found in extremely dense animals. I will never forget the day when I first met Candy and I went to feel his fleece and couldn't hardly get my fingers into it! His fleece was the first "berber carpet" fleece I had ever experienced! You will want this quality in YOUR herd! FIBER + COLOR + QUALITY GENETICS = CANDALERO! We are giving a FEMALE GUARANTEE with each breeding to Candy!!! Candy's sire is the famous blue ribbon winner, Excalibur Codi. Candy exhibits the same extreme coverage and phenotype as his sire (not to mention ribbon winning ways!). You can visit Candy's webpage at http://alpacasofalagaesia.com/Candy.htm We have retired Candy from our herdsire lineup. I am leaving this page for informational purposes for his offspring. :D

Grey Maker!

WLA Lady Lili

HuacayaOpen (Female)Medium Rose Grey
AOA# 165198DOB: 9/2/1994
What do you get with Lili? ***Proven mom with tons of milk that grows strong and healthy cria. No worries with her! ***Offspring that go on to be ribbon winners and produce winners themselves. ***Strong grey genetics. Since we have had Lili she has given us grey babies 4 out of 5 times! Lili has a beautiful face and a beautiful plum colored rose grey fleece. She is an import from Chile and has never been shown but has produced cria that have gone on to win at a national level. We have been blessed with a grey cria every time we have bred Lili and 3 of the 4 have been GIRLS! Lili is priceless to us! Lili had a boy cria named Atlantis who is a medium fawn with outstanding fiber at birth. We will see how he grows! Don thinks he is a keeper! Lili was our first alpaca purchase and is the sweetest (despite her previous reputation!) and oldest girl on our farm. She holds a very special place in our heart. :)

Description

When I came home and found this little guy by his mommy out in the pasture all happy and dry, I thought to myself, WOW...what a fleece (...Oh ya, and Yeah a baby!)! Strong and dense curly bundles everywhere! I have a feeling he will be crimp galore and his brightness when I peeked inside blew me away too! Even though I REALLY had hoped he would be a girl, I thought, if you have to be a boy...I am happy he is this nice! He is extremely young but so far I have to say (if you haven't guessed!) we are very impressed! I love this guy and would love to keep him for our herd but we are small and he is to related. I think he would be an excellent addition to another herd but am also offering him to a lucky pet/fiber home for only $500!
