Premier's Gold Standard

HuacayaHerdsire (Male)Light Fawn

Gold Standard has made us very proud! He has consistently placed well and ribboned in every showring he has entered. With Gold Standard's genotype and phenotype, he sets the course as an outstanding stud. The best part is Gold Standard's disposition - he is a joy to work with inside and outside the showring! All of his cria are "stamped" in the same way! They all have broad chests, straight legs, large bone, great staple length and nicely wound crimp! Gold Standard has 10 crias on the ground in 2012 from black to fawn. Gold Standard is holding his fineness well. He is sturdy with excellent proportions, heavy bone, gorgeous head and is extremely mellow. His fiber is extremely bright and has crimp EVERYWHERE, even in his topknot! DENSE, DENSE, DENSE! And he's out of TWO GREYS! His top genetics include three famous great grandsires: Peruvian Guellermo, 4Peruvian Legacy, PPPervian Cahuide and Aussie Rockford. Gold Standard's mom is a rare girl - solid dark rose grey, and full Peruvian. She has taken many awards and has produced great quality babies. The awards of his silver sire, Onyx's Grey Navigator, just go on and on. Co-owned with Squire Creek Ranch, Alan Pickard and Michal DeDear. We are selling our (Liberty Alpacas) 1/2 interest in this fine male.

Alpaquitas Primera

HuacayaOpen (Female)Dark Brown

She has a nice handle and her personality means that you can enjoy feeling her fleece (while it's still on her!) She is the PR animal on the farm since she tends to flirt with every visitor when we go out in the pasture. Her deliciously soft medium brown fleece has nice crimp. Her lovely crimp is consistent across her body, from her top line down to her legs! This girl has crimp everywhere! At 18.7 microns, this girl has a lovely fine fiber. She was independently evaluated by judge Sharon Loner and received a score of 84/100.

Description

Liberty's Revolutionary was born on 9/11/13 and we were happy to see grey ears, face, neck and legs when he was born. His dam, a medium brown girl and his sire, Premier's Gold Standard produced this modern rose grey boy who is full of energy and spunk. His correct conformation and beautiful color should do him well next year at the shows. We look forward to seeing him grow and develop.
