An extremely dense, light brown fleece on a well proportioned frame with a gentle, calm demeanor, Blossom is a wonderful mother, births easily and provides lots of milk. She is from the Patagonia breeding program of Danko and El Padre lineage. Blossom has given us two beautiful, award winning, medium to dark brown cria from medium fawn PNA Poseidon's Isaac (2008 - Miele's Saffron and 2009 - SANDS Za Atar Spice). In 2010, Blossom birthed SANDS Sweet Cecily, a stunningly bright and dense white female, out of Treasures Chocolate Porter, a blue ribbon dark brown/maroon stud. In 2011, Blossom birthed a gorgeous rich dark brown (maroon) girl, SANDS Cinnamon Roll, sired by Derwydd Inti-Hatun, 5X Champion, son of Derwydd Inti-Sapa. Blossom gave birth in 2013 to SANDS Caramel Candy, a healthy, sweet light brown girl that has tons of crimpy, soft fiber, sired by Snowmass Matrix Principe.

Snowmass Matrix Principe is just an all around spectacular guy! He is the son of Snowmass Matrix, famous son of Snowmass Quechua by being the highest selling auction alpaca ever for $675,000. We absolutely love what Principe brings to our breeding program. He is a handsome compact male, with great balance, strong bone and fine, dense fleece everywhere! His amazing pedigree lists the top of the pyramid males generation upon generation, with Matrix, Quechua, 4Peruvian Legacy, Hemingway, and Cahuide on his paternal side. His dam also has her bragging rights coming from Felix and Bueno combination from the elite Maple Brook breeding program. You can see from the pictures he has impeccable good looks. Get into his fleece and you will want to sink your hands in there and never let go! We worked with Julie Skinner on finding a male that would take our breeding program to the next level above the great males we already have in our program. We were looking for genetic and fleece combinations they have had great success with in their breeding program. After looking at several outstanding potential males, we couldn't resist Principe. Julie stated Principe is the very finest of Matrix sons and is also very dense like his sire. Cecily is pure white with tons of color in her lineage (sire is dark maroon Treasure's Chocolate Porter). A spunky personality, she is a real joy to watch in the pasture. Strong and healthy, with excellent conformation and fabulous fiber character, with extreme density (sister to SANDS Za Atar Spice) and fineness (Constantino and Danko lineage). With her conformation, and her dams mothering abilities, Cecily has moved into the role of dam with ease, birthing an amazing vicuna colored male, sired by Snowmass Matrix Principe.
