31045766<--ari-->Light Brown<--color-->When a 2 month old Golden Sovereign hopped off the trailer from Idaho with his dam in the fall of 2003 we knew almost instantly he was something very special. The truly great ones just exude it from the very beginning. In the ensuing years Sovereign has matured into a stunning young Herdsire with a firm grip on a slot in the CCNF Stud Barn along with his sire Snowmass Legacy Gold and his paternal brother Archangel. Though he is a virtual brown replica of his sire, one must also give great credit to his world famous white dam, PPPeruvian Jesusa, who after giving us this guy then threw another absolute ace in the form of a little girl, CCNF Magdalena (Sovereign's full-blooded sibling), who started her show career by winning the Fawn Female Championship at the 2005 North American Alpaca Show and would go on amongst many other things to win her color championship the following year at The Futurity. That consistency has proven to be a heritable trait in her brother as well and Sovereign offspring (and now their crias) have regularly held down spots in our show strings and later our foundation herd. Her strong bone structure and soft fleece, combined with impressive genetics,helped us to select her as one of our foundation females. Euphoria's first offspring, I-Star's Noah swept the 2006 Spring show season with 3 blue ribbons and a fawn color championship. Euphoria's first girl, Calypso is another high quality show animal. Calypso took a 2nd at the 2009 North East Show. <--description-->
