We looked at over 30 males at Snowmass and continued to come back to this one.What a genetic combination Snowmaster/Hemingway/Sollocota and very unique in the east. He has an elite fleece, with a very high frequency of very densley packed crimp as well as incredibly fine. He has nothing but White in his lineage. His first Cria's have arrived !!!!! The first 13 cria are on the ground and 9 are GIRLS and they are all awesome. This guy just stamps out one outstanding cria after another. Snowmass De Beers is Co-Owned by Ed and Charlene Friedman of Mountain Edge Alpacas in State college PA.

Dynastee is a wonderful boy that is fine with great density. Tight zipper crimp as well. Talk about pedigree. The grand line of Abundance, Snowmass Millenium, Peruvian Legacy as well as Hemingway. The sorters comments for his 20010 fleece were wondrful brightness, outstanding crimp structure, consistent throughout. Only 2 grades between primary and secondary fibers. Sorter liked him so much she obtained 2 breedings to him. Abundance sold at magicals breeder auction in 2010. His dam Deluge is also 2000 AOBA color champion.Dynastee has 3 cria coming in spring and fall of 2012. Once he has cria on the ground his breeding fee will go up.
UPDATE: As of 9/27/2012 Dynastee has 3 cria on the ground and they all look incredible. Two girls and one boy. I have one on my farm. One is at Circle K in southern Ohio and the other is at criation station in oberlin. All have thrown Dynastee great bone structure and confirmation. All are white as well. Her 2011 daughter, TCS Faded Glory, received a blue ribbon at the 2012 Buckeye Show. Faded Glory sheared over 8 lbs of 5" fleece in 2013.
Kimberlite's 2009 son, TCS Gabriel, has a 2 year histogram of OF 19.4 AFD, 3.4 SD, 17.4% CV, 99.3%! TCS Gabriel placed 1st at the 2012 MAPACA Spin Off and 2011 AOBA National Spin-off.
After the spectacular 2012 male cria sired by ArkAlpaca's Peruvian Dynastee, we decided to repeat that breeding for her 2014 cria. Dynastee is a son of MFI Peruvian Abundance and grandson of Snowmass Millenium. After sorting Dynastee's fiber in 2011, I felt he would be a perfect match for Kimberlite. He had outstanding fleece even at 5 years of age. His primary to secondary fiber grade is close, and he has outstanding brightness, density, staple length and crimp structure for age. I received a 2013 sample of Dynastee's fiber and WOW, it is just as nice at 7 years!
Kimberlite is the daughter of Snowmass DeBeers and grand-daughter of Peruvian Snowmaster. She also has Peruvian Hemingway in her lineage.
Kimberlite is a fabulous mother. No milking or rebreeding issues. She is a very attentive mother.
Her conformation is arrow-straight with strong bone structure. She is perfectly proportioned from front, side and rear.
