Ole Country Caleb is an award-winning male with nice conformation and heavy bone. A good-looking big boy with lots of presence, he has an esteemed lineage including grandsire Big Hoss and great grandsire Peruvian Felix. His dam, CPHA Plum Cake, is a reserve color champion with grey in her background.
Caleb has followed his dam's success in the show ring earning 1st at 2006 ABR Fall Festival and 2nd at 2007 Great Western Alpaca Show. Caleb has proven capable in the herd sire department by fathering Sassafras, a female with sturdy bone and loads of dark brown fiber.
Caleb will be a nice fiber boy or make a great 4H project.

Description
Sassafras has great fiber coverage on her sturdy frame and a nice, upright stance. An excellent mother, providing ample milk, she sailed through her first pregnancy and birth easily. She is an extremely low-maintenance, super healthy, female.
Sassafras is the dam of the award-winning, bay black Bruce of Sunrise Ridge, a Sunny Mesa Pepperdyne male. Sassafras has shown the ability to pass the service sire's best conformational and fiber qualities through to the cria. Sassafras' progeny, the award winning Bruce of Sunrise Ridge, sheared a 13 pound blanket in 2013!
She combines the heritage of Peruvian Felix, on her award-winning sire's side, with Peruvian Oro from her dam. Her sire, Ole Country Caleb, is the son of the late Reserve Color Champion CPHA Plum Cake, who carried the grey genetics of her father, a dark silver grey.
Las Bonitas' Sassafras will make an excellent foundation female, providing healthy, sturdy, densely fibered progeny with the added possibility of grey.
