Snowmass Matrix Majesty was the Reserve Dark Herdsire of the Year award at the 2011 Futurity as well as the Fawn Champion at the 2010 Futurity and with good reason too. Since that time he has had several crops of crias born here at Cas-Cad-Nac and to say that he has been impactful in our breeding program, would be a gross understatement. In addition to multiple Championships and Judges' Choice awards (at both the 2014 AOA National Show and 2014 Futurity) his offspring have also combined to win multiple Get-of-sire classes for their all-world sire. Majesty was also the winner of the Futurity Herdsire of the Year awards again in both 2013 and 2014. Matrix Majesty is the genetic amalgam of some of the greatest names to ever grace the North American alpaca herd. Herdsires such as Chaccu, Legacy, Hemingway, Quechua, Matrix, Elite, Augusto, Accoyocusani, and Bueno are all present. Also present in his pedigree are the famous rock star dams PPP Prestige, 4P Isabella, PP Jesusa, and Snowmass Maree Love, the first three of whom we also had the great privilege of having here in our foundation herd late in their lives. Needless to say, the genetics in this guy are stacked and it shows. Snowmass Matrix Majesty displays the amazing fleece characteristics that the Quechua line has become known for: the combination of elite fineness and uniformity throughout while sacrificing nothing in density. Now fully owned by CCNF and used almost exclusively within our own herd where we play him off of the CCNF Elixir and CCNF Royal Ring of Fire lines, as of January 2017 Majesty is closed for outside stud service.

CCNF Magistrate was part of our first group of Snowmass Matrix Majesty crias that were born in 2012, and who together helped secure their famous sires’s reputation as one of the most prepotent Herdsires in North America! Amongst other things, Magistrate has been a steady member of the threesome that has represented his paternal line in the Get of Sire classes, including the winning trios at both this past spring's AOA National show and the 2014 Futurity. Though we are listing him here for sale for the first time, we will also be concurrently offering Magistrate for outside stud service. While Magistrate’s sire really needs no introduction at this point, his dam, SHRA Virtual’s Reality, though less well known obviously, is just as important to the full story. Reality joined our foundation herd over 12 years ago as a juvenile after we purchased her from Star Hill Ranch at the 2001 AOBA National Auction in Portland, OR. The daughter of Virtual Vicuña and PPPeruvian Acomani, Reality’s kids and grandkids (and even great-grandkids) have gone on to play pivotal roles in our breeding program ever since. Take for instance her daughter, CCNF Nutmeg of Consolation, who was one of our first Legacy Gold crias ever and to this day has won more ribbons (first in halter classes, later in fleece shows) than any single other animal in our farm’s history. That all being a slightly long-winded way of saying that Magistrate is absolutely the genuine article with deep genetic roots on both side of his pedigree. Yes, but what of the specimen himself? We are after all speaking about an alpaca that will theoretically go on to breed any number of females! Dark brown in color, Magistrate’s fleece is at once both dense and fine. All of that on a frame that is both very upright and correct. As one would expect of an alpaca that won Championships at some of the country’s most prestigious shows, he also carries himself with an undeniable presence. By any measure, this is a young Herdsire to be reckoned with and he is ready to work now!
