Andina's Prada

HuacayaFemaleBeige, Light Fawn
AOA# 31658393DOB: 9/3/200915 yrs
Prada is one of our farm's most reliable dams with a substantial frame and strong, straight bone structures. She is protective and watchful and is both patient and generous with her nursing cria; she is certainly a consistent milk producer. Prada is one of those dams who has "set and forget" crias: She sets them on the ground and it's like you can almost forget about them because she gets them off to such a strong start. Prada is bred to our own dark rose grey stud, Barneby (due date 6/8/2016). Noteworthy in Prada's pedigree is Top of the Hill Trouble, 4Peruvian Legacy and Peruvian Spirit of Hemingway.

Tiny frame, but TONS of fleece

Picchu Monte Cristo Cloud

HuacayaJr. Herdsire (Male)Dark Brown, Dark Rose Grey
AOA# 32537727DOB: 9/11/201311 yrs
Monte Cristo Cloud is a little boy who packs a punch and while his frame is smaller than average his conformation is spot on. Cristo's fiber is also nice and dense with a beautiful luster and a handle you would expect from a 16 micron fleece! This boy is precocious so we successfully bred him to our up and coming star, Picchu Dot, who placed 3rd in very stiff competition at both Alpacapalooza and CABA 2015! This is a breeding with a lot of potential!

Description

Dot has grown into a stunning light to medium silver grey girl who would make an incredibly fine addition to any breeders program. She has a solid, well-proportioned frame and beautiful, consistent fiber with a lovely hand, which is incredibly dense and has an impressive staple length! With just 11 months of growth her cria fleece (blanket and neck) weighed 6 pounds. She is the daughter of the late, great Patagonia's Amancio, who himself, along with his many offspring, have countless accolades. Her strong frame and imposing weight of 136 pounds are thanks to her ever-attendant dam, Andina's Prada. Prada was a patient mother with a seemingly endless supply of milk, never begrudging Dot a single sip and always ready to stop and let her fill up! Dot is bred to our own Monte Cristo Cloud with a due date of 7/29/2016.
