30855014<--ari-->White<--color-->OUR ACCOYO PERUVIAN ROCKSTAR 2000-2013 FUTURITY HERDSIRE OF THE YEAR There are very few farms that have the priveledge of owning a Herdsire of the Year. We feel fortunate to have been an owner of Rockstar. With his sudden passing in 2013, we reflect on how he truly has made a positive impact on the industry. Rockstar has certainly done it bigtime for us in our own program, contributing significantly to Eldora's winning Breeder of the Year in 2013. Rockstar was a true legend and holds the title Futurity Light Suri Herdsire of the Year. As of this writing there have only been four Light Suri Herdsires of the Year in the history of the Alpaca Industry. With his passing, we look forward to producing Rockstar grandkids and great-grandkids on our farm. His son Maestro carries the torch in our breeding barn in 2013. DID YOU KNOW THAT: 1. Rockstar earned the Title Herdsire of the year in 2006 with only 7 offspring who all placed well in the show. 2. In 2007 Eldora bought 1/3 share in Rockstar along with two other farms. Rockstar's original owner retired. 3. Rockstar won a Best Luster award for his fleece at 9 years of age. That just might be a first in the industry. 4. ROCKSTAR OFFSPRING HAVE WON NO LESS THAN 52 CHAMPIONSHIPS/RESERVE CHAMPIONSHIPS/JUDGE'S CHOICE, 95 1st Place wins, and 11 'Best' awards at AOBA certified shows. 5. Eldora's Accoyo Maestro by Rockstar holds the greatest number of Judge's Choice, Championships, Reserve Championships, 'Best' awards and Blue ribbons of any Rockstar son in the USA! 30855014<--ari-->White<--color-->Mystery is a white 5/8 Accoyo with excellent conformation, a dense fine fleece with great luster. 1st baby: Female: Rockstarlet, a 3/4 accoyo Rockstar daughter. She had a completely unassisted (and unwitnessed) birth in September. Rockstarlet sold at the AOBA auction in 2006. 2nd baby: Female: a lovely show girl named Hey Delilah out of Kalvin.Delilah placed in every show she was entered in. She was sold sight unseen at 5 months old to Shelly Morris of Dos Rios Alpacas in California. 3rd baby: Male: a handsome light fawn. Sold as a weanling. 4th baby: Female: a dark fawn girl with blinding luster out of our black herdsire, Volt. She placed 2nd at IN Invitational and 4th at Mapaca. She was open for a couple years, and now is bred to to a Protocol (deceased) son, TVF Regis ARI#31123631.
