Accoyo Lily has been a cornerstone of our foundation herd. Her traits are all positive--she catches on one breeding, she births easily, has plenty of milk, is a watchful mom but not nervous AND produces some very outstanding cria.
Take a look at her recent August 2012 picture. She still has "it"!
Ever heard of "lingering fineness--this is it! Just take a look at her remarkable April 2012 histogram that shows an AFD of 20.3 for an eleven-year-old breeding female.
We had Wade Gease come and do a herd evaluation in early December 2011. While we know he was young at the time, Wade thought that Lily's 2011 cria had a very nice developing fleece and was showing show/herdsire potential.
Lily has been confirmed pregnant by ultasound to Accoyo America Navigator for a June 2014 cria. Navigator, a DF son of Hemi-Accoyo Nautilus, is a five-time color champion, one-time reserve color champion, one-time fleece color champion and first place get of sire. Now he is siring his own champions. Navigator transfers fineness, fine crimp and long staple length. “Stunning” should be the result of this pairing. breeding program a leg up.
Don't gamble by overlooking a proven female--a proven breeder and a proven mom. You should never take these attributes for granted.
