AOA# 848433DOB: 9/9/200321 yrs
The look of liquid mercury and the excitement of a full Peruvian grey suri awaits your breeding program with Mercury Rising. He is the son of Angelinn, a beautifully locked 6Peruvian Rufino daughter and Reserve Champion at the 2002 MaPaca Jubilee, the largest alpaca show in North America. His sire is 5Peruvian Silver King, a medium silver grey full Peruvian stud out of a full Peruvian rose Grey dam, who has produced several greys. Mercury's high luster grey color, defined lock structure, and superb conformation of his typey body style makes him one to watch in the show ring and in the breeding pen. This showy male has outstanding coverage from his topknot to his toes and exhibits beautiful locks - very unusual for a grey, promising to make him the top grey herd sire in the country. Mercury won Reserve Color Champion at the 2005 AOBA National Conference Fleece Show, winning over many of the top grey and multi males in the country. His regrowth on his fleece is beautiful, with defined locks and beautiful luster. His silver grey color (almost blue) is breathtaking! Mercury has produced champions, too! Check out WRSR Mercury Rising's Marauder, a medium rose grey now owned by Rainbow Mountain Alpacas and Prairie Lake Alpacas. Marauder was awarded Reserve Champion - Grey Male Suris, at the 2009 MAPACA Jubilee Show. Mercury's Wildside has taken the blue at the 2009 AOBA Nationals, as well as the 2009 MABA Alpaca Celebration. Book your breedings now! Mercury is available for mobile breedings and resident breedings here at the farm. Live cria birth guarantees, 60 days board for the dam (crias extra @$3.00 per day), and ultrasound confirmation included for resident breeding. Mobile breeding includes bringing the male to your farm within a 120 mile radius of 21078 for a maximum of 2 breedings. Additional trips incur a mileage charge of $1.00 per mile traveled in the minivan. Drive-by breedings can also be done at our farm where you bring the female to Wild Rose Suri Ranch for breeding and receive a $250 discount off the breeding fee. Contact Patti at 443-740-4240 for more information and to schedule your breeding! Drive-by breedings for only $1,750!

Great production dam & easy keeper

WRSR Peruvian Rendezvous - Razor full sister

SuriOpen (Female)Light Fawn
AOA# 1216424DOB: 11/18/200420 yrs
Rendezvous is the full sister to multiple champions WRSR Accoyo Razor and WRSR Peruvian Navajo Gold. She exhibits a very fine fleece, with excellent density and is able to produce color crias from colored males. She has never been shown in the show ring, as we knew from the day she was born that she was to be part of our foundation herd. We showed her light fawn fleece and she won Color Champion at the OABA AlpacaFest in 2005, and a 1st Place at the AOBA National Conference in 2006. Rendezvous has great production characteristics and has 2 crias: WRSR Claytonite's Farenheit, a deep maroon, super slick male, and WRSR Mercury Rising's Wildside, a dark silver grey with brilliant luster. He is particularly interesting with his sire's grey genetics, and has "greyed out" to a beautiful deep black base with uniform silver highlights throughout his fleece. Rendezvous appears to produce color when bred to color, and although her genetic color background is light, she can produce dark colors when bred to a dark male. She is currently open, and she comes with a complimentary breeding to the Wild Rose herd sire of your choice (non-auction purchase), along with up to 45 days board and a confirmation ultrasound. Description

Looking for an amazing male who will produce lots of dark crias, including black and grey? Wildside was born true black in color, and is now turning a uniform dark silver grey. He has been changing color since he was 6 months old as is evidenced by the different color classes at the shows. In his first 2 shows he won 2 Blue Ribbons! He will currently show in the Dark Silver Grey halter classes. Mercury Rising offspring generally will turn either rose grey or silver grey once they reach 1 year old. Wildside has beautiful independent locks and high luster, along with well-proportioned conformation and typey suri head. Wildside's dam, WRSR Peruvian Rendezvous, is the 3/4 Accoyo full sister to multiple champion-producer, WRSR Accoyo Razor. She is a high luster, strong female with independent locks and density. WRSR Peruvian Mercury Rising, his sire, is silver grey with a bluish cast to his fleece. He has a wide stance in the chest and rear legs and is heavy boned and is one of our top males. Need that unique grey breeding? Wildside is proven and ready to go to work. Breedings purchased on the OpenHerd Auction are "drive-by" breedings and do not include board. Daily board is available with a breeding for $3.50 per day, as well as ultrasound services. Breedings purchased at the regular stud fee include 45 days board and an ultrasound pregnancy confirmation. Wildside is offered for sale because we own his sire and dam. He comes with full breeding guarantees. Contact Patti at 443-740-4240 for more information or to schedule a visit.
