We are sad to report that Jimbobway died Oct 12th from a heart attack. He would have been 17 years old in mid-November. Jimbobway is the product of 2Peruvian Joselo, his full Accoyo white, tightly penciled sire, and 4Peruvian Artemis, a rich maroon Suri with black points, great density and superior coverage. Jimbobway's fiber is very dense, slick, and fine with an exquisite soft hand and good structure. He has placed in every class he has entered, even in costume, obstacle and agility classes. With a friendly and easy-going disposition, his cria win the hearts of everyone interacting with them. Jimbobway's crias are super high luster dark fawns, high luster and dense whites and even 2 pintos, one which was a female out of a white dam who previously produced 5 white male crias when bred to other males. Jimbobway has consistently produced high luster, slick-fleeced suri crias even from fluffy dams with minimal luster and very little lock structure. Jimbobway's crias consistently win in the show ring, and he is becoming more recognized as a top herd sire on the East Coast. Many of his offspring have remained in our breeding program and are producing beautiful crias for us, as well as populating top suri farms across the country.

Bluebird Hills Rhianna - Proven Producer

SuriOpen (Female)Medium Fawn
AOA# 30469471DOB: 10/14/200519 yrs
Rhianna has beautiful locks and luster on each new fleece, and she is an excellent mother. She is a beautiful fawn color with dark skin and nails, and has proven that she can produce grey when bred to grey. Her daughter Sugar Babe is a beautiful rose grey by our own Mercury Rising (Medium Silver Grey). We were surprised when we bred her to Jimbobway, who is dark fawn, and ended up with a white "Shotgun", although that has happened from Jimbobway upon occasion. Shotgun did well at the 2012 Mapaca Jubilee, the largest show in the US, placing 3rd in a class of 14 of the top juvenile males in the country. Sugar Babe also received fleece championships in her career. Look closely at the locks and her lock regrowth, as she maintains this beautiful fleece year after year. Rhianna has been a foundation dam for us and will continue to produce excellent, competitive crias with a beautiful fleece. Rhianna was bred to Branagan, our multi-champion Allegiance son, and her 2018 cria, WRSR Honeysuckle. She produces high quality crias, so we bred for an appaloosa this year with show champion WRSR JackKnife by Fusion as the sire. We are hoping for that beautiful grey/fawn appy pattern. Description

Shotgun is bright white but carries the genetics of his dark fawn sire, Jimbobway, and his medium fawn dam, Rhianna. He is officially 15/16 Peruvian and 1/16 Bolivian heritage, and 1/4 Accoyo bloodlines. He has very nice lustrous fiber with good fineness with his blanket grading Grade 3 and 4, making his blanket one of the most useful grades in processing today. His conformation is good and correct, and his health is excellent. He has a pleasant personality, is easy-going. Shotgun placed 3rd at the 2012 MAPACA Jubilee, one of the largest and most competitive suri shows in the country, in the white juvenile male class of 14 versus intense competition from across the country. His lock structure, luster, and density placed him in the top 3. Shotgun has beautiful fiber, with his blanket shearing between 2.5-3.0 lbs. per year.
