WRSR Peruvian Silk Stockings
Alpaca, Suri, Open (Female) | Medium Fawn
AOA #1216387 | DOB: 11/14/2004 (20 yrs)
Sire: WRSR Peruvian Doc Riley
1216387<--ari-->Medium Fawn<--color-->Doc Riley was named for our veterinarian, Dr. Laura Riley, who assisted us with the births and all vet work on the farm. Doc is a tall male, now standing over 40" at the shoulder, with very fine fiber at 20.2 microns with a beautiful shining copper color. His locks are very consistent across his body, including his topknot, with excellent coverage of his narrow locks. His coloring offers interesting cria possibilities as evidenced by his gray face, white stripe across his brow, and almost black feet. Doc has demonstrated his color production capabilities by producing appaloosas, fawn/gray/white pintos, solid fawns, and white.
One of Doc's best traits is his very upright stance and straight topline. We have used him with females that have a more relaxed posture to consistently produce upright, showy crias with many of them having fantastic color and patterns.
Doc represents limited bloodlines. His sire, Magnifico, died in 2003, and left Doc <--description-->
Dam: WRSR Peruvian Cirrus
1216387<--ari-->White<--color-->This 1/2 Accoyo Ramilo daughter carries the density and bone of her sire, as well as locks and coverage. She has produced multiple ribbon winning offspring, all with outstanding fleece that is high luster with a greasy feel. Her dam is 3Peruvian Gypsy Moon, from the Huarapina region of Peru and Gypsy is the dam of AOBA multi-champion and premier herd sire, WRSR Kilimanjaro. See her award-winning sons Liberty and Legend. Cirrus produces color when bred to color with a fawn/white/grey pinto, a medium fawn, beige, and white offpsring to date.

Description
Showy! Silk Stockings has just enough markings to make her stand out in a crowd, but still allow her to show in a solid fawn class. Her color is outstanding: grey on her face, solid medium fawn taupey blanket, and showy white front stockings. She struts her stuff saying, "Look at me!" - a trait from her sire, Doc Riley, a Magnifico son. Her conformation and bite are exceptional, as well as her fleece which is very fine, high luster, locked with curls, and has a very soft handle.
This 1/2 Accoyo beautiful, strong girl with multiple Get of Sire Winner, Accoyo Ramilo (grand sire), Accoyo Tesora de Marfil (grand dam), and Magnifico (dark silver grey grand sire) in her bloodlines promises to produce outstanding color and fleece possibilities. Silk's dam is WRSR Peruvian Cirrus, out of Accoyo Ramilo and 4P Gypsy Moon, dam of WRSR Kilimanjaro.
Silk delivered a healthy male cria, WRSR Peruvian Typhoon, whose markings look just like her with fine fiber and tiny lock to the skin. Her first cria, Typhoon, was awarded Fawn Color Champion at the 2010 PAOBA Breeders' Choice Show. We recommend rebreeding her to Accoyo America Encantador to repeat this performance!
