Magnolia originates from the well-known Sweet Briar Suri breeding program and is 3/4 Accoyo bloodlines. She is the grand daughter of Accoyo Crown Royal, Sweet Briar's signature male and top herd sire. Her dam is a Crown Royal daughter, and her sire is Jax Accoyo Suri Star, a premier herd sire from Alpaca Jack's Suri Farm. She has an extremely soft fleece and excellent fineness, shearing 7.5 lb in 2014 with a 6.5" length. The fleece is very soft, uniform and is wonderfully easy to hand spin, producing an amazing softness to the yarn. She was acquired over a year ago and has since delivered her 1st female cria, Flower Child, who also has a very soft and high luster fleece, with layered architecture outlining her density. She has a curious disposition and gets along well with the other alpacas. Magnolia was confirmed pregnant via ultrasound to WRSR Serengeti by Razor, a 4X Color Champion with an AFD of 19.1, but reabsorbed her pregnancy at 122 days during the January cold weather.
