Looking to outcross your Macgyver bloodline females? Here is the answer! Diane Beaver at Alpaca Ventures described Claytonite as the best male offspring produced on her farm by Cantano of Peru. Claytonite is now owned by Marie Brown of New Horizons Suri Alpacas (Patti's mom) and is standing stud at the Wild Rose Suri Ranch. He carries the same rare color as his sire, that deep, dark maroon that glistens with a purple tinge of color. Claytonite represents breeding diversity and the ability to combine the best genetics for color and fleece. He is the perfect choice for those looking for top dark maroon males to breed to Macgyver daughters and granddaughters. Claytonite has fantastic coverage and density. His fleece regrowth has been exceptional and has come back uniformly curled and locked across his body. (See photo) His beautiful color is consistent across his body with high luster. Claytonite's head is very typey with a shorter nose, and beautiful dense locking all over his face, topknot, cheeks, and beard. This stunning male offers exciting possibilities with his rare color and bloodlines. See his beautiful maroon crias for sale! AOA# 810037DOB: 6/19/1998
Mulan, a spectacular 1/2 Accoyo Bruxo daughter, has been a star in the Wild Rose breeding program. She consistently produces champions with offspring like WRSR Accoyo Razor and WRSR Peruvian Navajo, producing a high luster fleeces with a greasy feel. Her conformation is impeccable and is highlighted by her beautiful head that she passes to her crias. Mulan delivered another show-stopping and award winning cria out Cantano's Peruvian Claytonite in Oct. 2007, WRSR Claytonite's Bianca, a deep maroon 1/4 Accoyo female that has the fleece characteristics of WRSR Accoyo Razor. Bianca went on to become a "Color Champion" at a level 5 show. Mulan continues to produce outstanding crias with color whether bred with white or color. She is truly a top foundation dam. Her latest cria by Allegheny Peruvian King Coal is a phenomenal dark silver gray male, "Coalossus" with dripping luster in a gray fleece. We are thrilled! Multiple Champions Produced: WRSR Accoyo Razor WRSR Peruvian Navajo Gold WRSR Claytonite's Bianca Mulan has been retired and now lives out her days at the farm. She continues to foster crias and she took on WRSR Snickers at one month old when her dam died from congestive heart failure. Mulan has nurtured Snickers and her milk came in to feed her. While Snickers is now weaned, the two of them stick together and remain close. It is quite a sight to see and heartwarming to watch.

Description

Mischief is the grandson of both Accoyo Bruxo and Cantano of Peru, two well known and highly respected foundation herd sires in the alpaca industry. Mischief is also the 1/2 brother to multiple Champions WRSR Accoyo Razor, WRSR Peruvian Navajo Gold, and WRSR Claytonite's Bianca. His dam, DDF Mulan is a beige Accoyo Bruxo daughter and is one of our top-champion producers (Picture #5). His bloodlines are now limited, as both Bruxo and Cantano of Peru are deceased, and he carries on their legacy. Cantano's Peruvian Claytonite is the sire of Mischief, and he is the deepest burgundy maroon showing a rich purple color to his fleece - truly rare and unusual! Claytonite has great presence with a beautiful fleece that re-locks each and every year. Claytonite still regrows all his facial fiber and beard each year. Mischief carries his sire's beautiful stature on a heavy, large frame, with flowing independent fiber that shines the color of a copper penny, highlighted by beige points on his legs, belly, and face. Mischief has very dark skin and the potential to produce dark crias with density, coverage and fineness. He was micron tested September 1, 2010 at the age of 23 months and had a 23 micron fleece, with a standard deviation of only 5.3 microns. Mischief has luster, uniformity of lock and fantastic coverage. He is truly a beautiful male with great promise for future production of outstanding crias. At the age of 5, Mischief is maintaining his fineness and uniformity in his fleece. Great genetics! This male was shown as a juvenile, and he was very competitive, placing 2nd in a class of 9 at the MAPACA Jubilee, one of the few Level V shows in the country. We cut back on the number of shows and entries in 2010, and Mischief was not shown. Mischief placed 1st at the Carolina Alpaca Show in 2011 in the 2 and Older class. He is clearly competitive and is offered at a low price since he is redundant bloodlines in our herd. He will certainly make the purchasing farm proud and competitive. Special Offer: Purchase Mischief with a cash payment and receive FREE TRANSPORT (up to $250) to your farm. (Not applicable for an auction purchase)
