Maurizio is the full Accoyo son of 2Peruvian Bruxo (Accoyo) and 2Peruvian Eleuteria (Accoyo) who is medium fawn in color. Maurizio carries the gentle nature of his sire Bruxo, along with strong, heavy boned body type. Maurizio's fleece has narrow, high luster locks with that desirable "greasy" appearance. He has outstanding leg coverage, a heavy dense fleece, and still sports facial coverage and a beard at the age of 5. Accoyo Bruxo has produced many show-winning offspring, and there is great expectation for Maurizio producing colored Accoyos with show-winning records. He has dark, light, and multi crias on the ground, allowing color to pass through. He has produced light fawn, beige, and white colors out of solid white females. Maurizio has produced a long line of show winners for both halter and fleece. Check out the winnings of his sons Accoyo Allegiance and Accoyo Apocalypse on AlpacaNation - WOW! His daughter Accoyo Caress also won Reserve Color Champion - Yearling Whites at the Suri Symposium All Suri Fleece Show in August 2006 - the largest suri fleece show in the world! His daughter Accoyo Amoretta, won Color Champion - Multi Suri Fleece at the same show. What a showing for Maurizio! Maurizio was co-owned with Page and Craig Nitterhouse of Shasta Springs Alpacas.

MFI Peruvian Accoyo Moonshine

SuriOpen (Female)White
AOA# 839589DOB: 11/5/200222 yrs
Moonshine is a beautiful, Full Accoyo female that takes your breath away with just one look. We purchased her at the Breeders Choice Auction for $120,000 with great anticipation of what she will be able to produce. We fell in love with her the minute we laid eyes on her. A special thanks to co-owners Tim & Jackie Helline of Bobcat Alley Alpaca Ranch who teamed up with us to make this purchase even more special. Moonshine has outstanding coverage, great tight penciled locks, and blinding luster and a fawn spot on her side. Moonshine's dam is Accoyo Peruvian Moondance who is the offspring of Accoyo Peruvian Uribe (med fawn) and Accoyo Peruvian Para. Her sire is Accoyo Peruvian Torbio of The Alpaca Trading Company. Torbio needs no introductions in the Suri Industry. He consistently produces ribbon winning offspring. We are very proud to have a Full Accoyo offspring of Torbio's in our breeding stock. Moonshine had her first cria in the spring of 2005. She produced a beautiful full Accoyo female (with a fawn spot) out of DPA Prince - a rare full Accoyo bloodline, and a beautiful white female out of Accoyo Maurizio in 2006, and a stunning white full Accoyo male out of PIVAL Accoyo Admiral fall of 2007. She has fantastic production characteristics and a gentle, easy-going personality that she passes onto her crias. Contact us for availability of her offspring - they go fast! Moonshine is was bred to WRSR Accoyo Heat Wave for a 2016 cria. Heat Wave has everything you want in a herd sire. Starting out that he is FULL ACCOYO with an AFD of 23.7 at 45 months with a SD of 4.9 and CV of 20.6, he is holding his fineness and is uniform throughout. He has good density, shearing over 7# each year, and has a uniform white fleece with NO FAWN OR BLACK fibers. The resulting cria is a white male, WRSR Accoyo Viper by Heat Wave born July 15, 2016. Check out his page! Moonshine is now almost 20 years old and is in great health other than cataracts impairing her vision. She is not for sale as she is almost blind now and changing her familiar surroundings and location would be difficult for her. She continues to produce loads of beautiful fine white and lustrous suri fiber, even at 20. She is no longer being bred and is "retired". Description

This is one of the last daughters of medium fawn full Accoyo DDF Accoyo Maurizio, an Accoyo Bruxo and Accoyo Eleuteria son. Tempest is white with light fawn on her head, indicating her potential to produce color crias. Tempest is also an Accoyo Torbio granddaughter with a fawn granddam. Tempest has a fine fleece with high luster beautiful locks, outstanding density, and coverage from topknot to toes. Her dam, Accoyo Moonshine, is one of our top producers and a Torbio daughter. She passes on heavy bone, high luster, fineness and density. Maurizio has a very dense fleece with lingering fineness, massive bone and correct conformation, and a wonderful gentle disposition. Tempest is the product of two of our top suris on the farm. Tempest just delivered her first cria sired by deep maroon Storm Warning on July 30th, a healthy, strong white male with beautiful luster. The cria's sire is a 3X COLOR CHAMPION for fleece at the largest suri shows in the country. Tornado is very upright with very showy presence and strong conformation, even at his yung age. HIs fleece glistens and is very fine. Tempest is currently open, and consider the option of breeding to full Accoyo or outcross to one of our Champion part Accoyo males, either dark or light, to produce an exceptional show quality offspring whether shown in halter class or showing the fleece and spun yarns. This beautiful fiber is not to be overlooked, as she will provide years of high quality fiber as well as show quality crias. Don't let this one slip by if you are in the market - get this hidden gem for yourself before she is snatched up! Call Patti for more information or to schedule a visit at 443-740-4240 (cell).
