NOT for Sale..her cria & fleece are DIVINE! Cotton's Sire- Snowmass DeBeers, received 1st place in class of 7 Mature white males in 2004 at MAPACA Eastern Alpaca Jubilee. Judge Mike Safley said: "This male exhibits excellent fleece characteristics and is carrying good consistency in crimp and fineness as well as density for a 45 month old. He is a very nice animal." De Beers was sired by Peruvian SNOWMASTER (you can almost count his USA "sons" on one hand). Peruvian Snowmaster, was Snowmass Alpacas record selling male (at the time), and sold to a farm in Australia for excess of $200,000. Australia later sold Snowmaster back to his mother's native Peru, making him the only North American Alpaca to imported to Peru at the time. THERE AREN'T THAT MANY OF HIS OFFSPRING IN THE US DUE TO HIS BEING SOLD TO AUSTRALIA AND THEN BACK TO PERU! And if you search for Hemingway, you might find he was listed for Northwest USA coastal state. Cotton's dam Nuera has in her family $600,000 Royal Fawn whose World Class Genetics can only be gotten now through offspring! Service Sire 2014, Kahlua, has Snowmaster far back in his lineage too! NO BREEDS /NOT for sale: till PROVEN on this farm! (MUST show DAMs medical record to protect Lazer from illness)! End of 2016 and NO CRIA YET FROM 3 BREEDS LAST FALL (actually he had 3 larger,then 3 smaller dams put in with him)! Our fantastic, "Brightly-shining" WHITE Junior-Sire"mean" fiber diameter was 17.1 microns. Fibers greater than 30 microns is only 1.8 %. He has that fine buttery soft fiber! His sire Triton still has only 2.7 % of fibers greater than 30 microns this year! And his standard deviation in fiber is not much different than his sire Triton's. Breedings may be available after we get the first cria from him! He's serviced 3 females, but want to actually see his cria before opening him up to other females outside our herd. He is becoming more independent as he gains height & confidence... over the other males! But he's not tempered into battle w other sires easily...They have to coax him & then he plays...dosn't lose his temper easily. Of course, almost all our males were bred in PA for good natures as well as high quality, so there isn't much fighting among our males (till Spring...breeding time when they see males going up to our shed row barn to breed females. 2015--4 RIBBONS in 2 Shows! 2nd & 3rds PAOBA show and North Carolina Celebration. Description

Pandora splintered her rear rt leg March 2019. Per multiple VETS saving her leg would be almost impossible w infection a certainty since she walked thru mud as well. Intravenous IV's for week or more, would only give her slight chance & she couldn't carry a cria to term. We miss her greatly as she was our Houdini, getting out of pasture & coming up to home to greet us! We had fixed this habit long ago! Like her grand-dam, Nuera, she pronked, jumped, was just too intelligent for her own good. She will be missed for a long, long time... always be in our thoughts with smiles for memories she's given us. This was a hard decision... thanks to our VETS for patience, kindness & honesty.
