Looks like peach (fruit) and has a soft, very dense & fibrous, crimping coat! Her daughter's both have exemplary coats of fiber. Her daughter Lazy Susan can compete with most alpacas for her softness and yet her heavily laden blanket of fiber of extremely long staple length!!! Both daughters, so far, have been mixes of white and/or light/med to dark fawn. Both have HEAVY, dense coats of fiber, with long or very long staple length! Peaches is no longer with our farm! Peaches is very independent and very spoiled by her first owner (and by us)! She is a favorite. She can make you laugh with her intelligence and antics! She is mature, yet likes to dunk in our creek, and a long, low-height tub that we got for her! She was one of her first owner's initial cria's and therefore became spoiled! Peaches' sire was APP Peruvian Galant Physique, who's sire was beautiful 5Peruvian Camelot 9040, and whose dam was Royal Phinesse, daughter of PPPeruvian Royal Fawn 6014 and PPPeruvian Shannon 4753. Bay Black "Galant Physique" placed 1st in 2003 at the AOBA Summer Nationals Fleece Show as a 2 Year Old. Camelot won the Western Ohio...Triple Crown "Get of Sire"; and of course this means he has sired numerous winners of awards. Her dam is our Dark Fawn "Mentirosa". Peaches' dam Mentirosa is from CPeruvian Jaxon 114 IMPF98 (Bay Black) and Mentirosa's dam was Fleecy Dale Bon-Bon (Medium Brown). Bon-Bon was from many GREY mixes: sire Peruvian Macusani G204 (LSG White), and her dam was Dewey Meadow's Ruby (Light Brown/Light Silver Grey & White) who was of Dewey's Spitting Image (MSG W & TBlack) and Dewey M.'s Cherry Jubilee (Medium Brown/LS Grey & White). All of Bon-Bon's lineage was colors mixed with Grey & White, or Grey and True Black. (Peaches' sister Jasmine's cria "Crystal" is all white... but knowing of the many greys in their lineage, I named Crystal for grand-dam Bon-Bon's lineage). Every "Peaches" cria will be an expectant little miracle of a wonderful heritage of colors & greys, and probably very dense, crimping fiber!

NO BREEDS /NOT for sale: till PROVEN on this farm! (MUST show DAMs medical record to protect Lazer from illness)! End of 2016 and NO CRIA YET FROM 3 BREEDS LAST FALL (actually he had 3 larger, then 3 smaller dams put in with him)! Our fantastic, "Brightly-shining" WHITE Junior-Sire"mean" fiber diameter was 17.1 microns. Fibers greater than 30 microns is only 1.8 %. He has that fine buttery soft fiber! His sire Triton still has only 2.7 % of fibers greater than 30 microns this year! And his standard deviation in fiber is not much different than his sire Triton's. Breedings may be available after we get the first cria from him! He's serviced 3 females, but want to actually see his cria before opening him up to other females outside our herd. He is becoming more independent as he gains height & confidence... over the other males! But he's not tempered into battle w other sires easily...They have to coax him & then he plays...dosn't lose his temper easily. Of course, almost all our males were bred in PA for good natures as well as high quality, so there isn't much fighting among our males (till Spring...breeding time when they see males going up to our shed row barn to breed females. 2015--4 RIBBONS in 2 Shows! 2nd & 3rds PAOBA show and North Carolina Celebration. He's GENTLE, has his sires "way of listening & looking at you when speak to him!" NICE natured junior sire...growing in stature FAST..in other words he's going to be TALL! His fleece just proved it's worth... he may be headed for Halter Show next...full of dense fleece. If stature, softness w uniform density is desired, give us a call. (Breedings... after 2018 w be-$1500). Lazer's sire= KAF Triton, from past Double-O sire: HDF Prince Phillip, from NWA, LTD Predictor/Hemingway, NWA LTD Cecilia & El Moustachio! Peruvian Bonanza's "Amber B Sienna" was Triton's dam (Peruvian Chocolateer, DLA Perfecta &DLA Bernardo 167 in her bloodlines). LAZER's dam "Elk Mia Rae" is from 5Peruvian Girasol 8668 (MBrown) and 6Peruvian AccoyoGrandTriumph IMPR98 (WH)...BOTH COLOR CHAMPIONS! Per Double "O" Good Alpacas: "6P ACCOYO GRAND TRIUMPH" was in famous (last-'98) importation from Peru. HIS FLEECE WAS SO DENSE THAT HE QUALIFIED TO BE RATED AS A PERUVIAN NATIONAL TREASURE, & past 71% female offspring! How'd USA ever get him!...Thank you DOUBLE "O" GOOD! Triton's LAZER & AMADO(TB/?Silver), our Jr Sires may surpass BIG BOY's swiftly gained height/stature/fineness. FARM lines of famous pacas: HEMINGWAY, SNOWMASTER & 2004 MAPACA Champion Snowmass DeBeers (3 offspring-Destello/Cotton/Chloe). We've 4 DeBeers grandsons, 1 Nike son...maternal lines Cumulus ITA & Sir Lancelot; several VENGADOR's Accoyo Alexander [WINGS/NIKE(2009 VAOBA ribbon)& son AMADO & 2 females]; Chimbote females; several ROYAL FAWN's "Monte Carlo" or "Royal Phinese" line, Ameripaca's Solomon & Kensington, Bonanza...4 Acero Marka males, Mtn Edge's RAYO (champ Eastern Alpaca Jubilee)...

Description

Lazy Susan has longest staple length I've seen yet on our females!!! Some come close, but she is heavy with fiber. Her fiber is buttery soft and crimps even though so long. She gets so heavy with fiber that we watch her carefully to be certain not heat exhausted. But she seems to keep high energy and deal with all that fiber very well. She is quite comical at times and playful. Now that we see that she has good skin health...better much less zinc deficient than her sister was...WE HAVE TWO PERFECT MALES FOR HER this year... either "Rayo's Snow" or "Triton's Lazer." We'll see who takes to her first... try one then a spit test with the other a month later. Her dam Peaches and her sire White Comet (from Vengador's Accoyo Alexander), should give her a BEAUTIFUL CRIA!!! She is only real kicker in the herd, but- she had to be that way since kind of gentle natured, to survive the larger alpacas taking her food. When she came to us, we hand fed her a while and she grew (at 3 yrs old) just a little more! Now she goes for the good readily. She let us halter train her along with Snow and Crystal in just days!! She likes the water bucket and creek a little like her dam Peaches does!! Very intelligent and PLAYFUL... She is quite a nice personality! Her lineage is that of dam Peaches (shown on this site) and sire White Comet (who is also Nike, Wings and Crystals sire... I intend to breed all VENGADOR lineage!). White Comet is from Vengador's Accoyo Alexander and his sire was Vengador! So we value... Peach's-Lazy Susan, Jasmine's-Crystal of White & Sliver Bon Bon, and Cotton's-Wings of a Cumulus Smoke Storm very much. THEY BRING TO OUR HERD... EXCEPTIONAL GENES, in two each of our FEMALES & MALES... on all sides of their lineage!!! Roger sure did a great job breeding these alpacas. He started with DESTELLO, NUERA and MENTIROSA and came out with so many different lineages in the end. A friend has taught us even more about their care and breeding... and some wonderful VETS! It takes about a year to have a cria, and much longer to improve your herd! But, if start w a good foundation, you have a chance to do well.
