Wow...what color is available via the sweet and powerful Kizzi! Kizzi is a faithful ole gal. She consistently throws beautiful cria when bred to great Herdsires.
Bred to gray - we get a gray cria! She has a few more years of production and we would like to move her on. At her age, we have commented that she still maintains such a bright fleece.
Out of respect for Kizzi, we always give her a Champion Herdsire breeding and did so for her 2012 cria.

Description
I will be leaving this online to help get over Nuera... as I lost most of these pics when my PC went down. Also you can still pull her up to see more lines in lineage for Cotton & Rachel (her offspring)! Nuera had a blockage which caused her death after 3 days (July 4). VET courageously tried to save her, but tube revealed no excessive gas in stomach, and even then tried to assist her softened contents of her tummy and help her blockage... as we had already treated for gas and had hydrated her w sterile water & light Karo syrup. These WORKED, but weren't the problem! VET finally gave her something for pain, etc. She had developed much grey fiber showing old age! Nuera had a difficult breech birth in 2014, vet assisted by the most ALPACA-educated VET in our area!! Since over 13 yrs old and we didn't try to breed her again. Cria wouldn't turn, cria was pulled out backwards by that VET who did his best to protect her uterus while finding back legs. She was the LIFE of the pasture w her pronking...twists and turns... this may have added to her demise. But no female has given us quite as much joy.. just watching her personality, getting horse to share her stall & HAY.. INTELLIGENCE abounded, even Seventh Valley counted her a favorite! I had canceled her sale..was to substitute another female, I just had a feeling. She started losing weight...was greying underneath.. was just her time. God gave us several males & females to help remember her (Cotton & Rachel...offspring exceptional!) Her grave is surrounded with black wrought-iron (fancy) black panels of fencing! A flower bed is coming atop her. Maybe paint slate plague in time w her dte of birth & death (I will keep write up her history in our records). Our horse loved her more than any alpaca on the farm; &now favors Pandora, Jasmine & Mentirosa..as well as all cria. DAUGHTERS (Cotton & Rachel) BOTH just produced EXCEPTIONAL cria in 2015 (SEE Diamond Blacky & Diamond AURA)!!! Daughter Cotton has 3 different colors cria to see... her last went from Lt Gold color to Rose Grey w density &staple length! Diamond Blacky, son of daughter Rachel, HAS IT ALL... even bundling. These probably should both be SHOW alpacas...Rachel really surprised us with cria's quality & attentiveness, was priced much less than her half-brothers/half-sisters (of ROYAL FAWN son "MFI Peru.MONTE CARLO"...IMAGE of his Sire), because we were just getting started...never showed her. MULTIPLE WORLD CLASS lineage. Grand-CRIA's sires have had softness, staple length, stature, density...many colors to choose from. Black Caviare sire Bolaro is full-brother to blue ribbon champ male & Champion parentage w dam VERY soft bay black Rachel. God has left us with quite a few alpacas from her line! COTTON is her offspring (see Cottons 3 cria...bottom of her page). Her Cotton &Rachel always have exceptional (even bundling) fleece (this farm)! S. Valley bought Nuera dam Kizzi $21,000 w unborn Nuera $3,000.
