(He's VENGADOR's Accoyo Alexander grandson)! Nike is very Classy sire &, to me (Dk) Rose Grey! Won 5th VAOBA Halter show, his only showing, 2009 as indefinite color "grey"...judge decided color as amid turning grey (he is Med or Dk ROSE GREY NOW). We have NIKE's True Black son (extremely SOFT!), as well his half brothers Wings &BigBoy (fantastic sires-good stature, very SOFT heavy blanket). We hesitate sell due to stature /softness/crimp. He's darker grey than Wings, his look-alike half-brother (& darker brown outer layer). His dam CHLOE's sire was Peruvian SNOWMASTER son, Snowmass De Beers...whose dam was Snowmass Peruvian Purenya (HEMINGWAY daughter)! World-Class Smoke Storm is her dam Kizzi's dam. His sire-White Comet is Vengador's Accoyo Alexander son (his sire PPeruvian Vengador)!... FANTASTIC lineage. "White Comet" also sired our Lazy Susan, Crystal of White & Silver BonBon, & WINGS! We need room for his offspring, have other related Sires. He's SILVER & is very protective nature toward all young males (since Rayo's Snow...who acquired his protective nature)! Nike's more perfectly marked! I can't sell his brother, cause he tried to say A-MA-MA...Amy's name! We're also keeping his 1 year-old son (who may have a trace of that DK SILVER, but true black. Half-siblings, Destello & Cotton, also at this farm...These 3 sired by Snowmass De Beers (Snowmaster son)! His dam Chloe stands/acts/looks dignified and "full of class". The result of the pairing of Snowmass De Beers w Los Prados Kizzi was a line which has proven capable of throwing great colors. With the dark grey from his grand-sire, grandson NIKE placed 5th in 2009 VAOBA halter show as Indefinite Dark Grey. We see VERY Dark Silver color (Med or Dk Rose Grey) at the skin on his blanket and you can see his dark silver neck in his picture! Was told he placed 2nd somewhere, but I haven't found a record of this yet. 2nd cria of his dam Chloe, is completely WHITE, large stature cria (Seventh Valley BIG BOY). She is true to her own Sire and her dams lineage... especially Snowmaster & Snowmass DeBeers lineage of WHITE ... white/light silver alpacas. His dam Chloe's lineage on her maternal side included lots of greys! Esterlino (from Cumulus ITA and Sir Lancelot OT01) was son of dam Kesling's Midnight. Chloe's dam (Kizzi) is from World Class Smoke Storm (Australia), & Carolina Smoke (Chili). Chloe seems to possess immunities when doing herd health...seems VERY healthy & calm... a great mother!! NIKE is patient w male crias & somewhat protective of them. Because he placed in 2009 w his dark coat and silver underneath at his skin, Nike will only be available for breeding to farms that can show the females health was maintained (either fecals done, or shots regularly given). TRULY HEAVENLY..LIKE HER NAME (hid that she really is HEAVEN)... HAD FIRST CRIA MAY 26, 2013 w NIKE (ribbon-winning sire at this Farm)...cria AMADO. AMADO MELAINE means "BELOVED DARK BEAUTY (he had brown tips on True Blk at birth. He shimmered w rosy brown till sheared! For additional lineage, to really show "WHO's WHO IN THE SILVER/GREY lines, see Nevaeh's dam Jasmine's certificate (this farm)! Nevaeh (Heaven's) certificate is listed. As just said: Nevaeh's (nicknamed NewHeaven) Dam=WHO's WHO in GREYS! Had a huge black curly cria 2015! From dam Jasmine and half-sister is Buttercup (tall dams). Nevaeh's sire: Chimbotte's Corazon! Corazon sires were Peruvian Accoyo Chimbote...from Auzengate. And his dam Ma Renee was from 6Peruvuian Ron Hutson & CVA's Baba Au Rhum. Baba was from Acero Marka's Forward Pass & Snowmass Sierra!! Nevaeh's sire is from Peruvian Accoyo CHIMBOTE! I found online: Accoyo Chimbote, was sired by the world famous AUZENGATE who was exported to Australia after being purchased for well over $100,000...leaving only 7 sons in the U.S. His impact on that herd has been well documented as well! Chimbote was owned by an AOBA judge as well, and had everything you wish for in a herdsire. His incredible presence in the ring elicited raves from judges. A prolific breeder, Chimbote settled his females quickly and efficiently and had a female offspring ratio of over 70 %. At age four, Chimbote sheared 12.65 pounds of fiber. He did well in the show ring and never took less than a third place in the very competitive white classes. Sadly, Chimbote died in June of 2006 MAKING THESE GENETICS EVEN MORE VALUBLE!!! This is what Mountain Edge Alpacas, LLC said about their famous sire Chimbote (I read 2 of only 7 U.S. Auzengate sons were at their farm): Peruvian Accoyo Chimbote won a second place at his first AOBA National Convention in 1998, a first place at the Eastern Alpaca Jubilee in 1999 and a third place in an extremely large class of 23 animals at the National Convention in Louisville in 2000. At the Louisville convention on June 4th, he sheared an incredible 12.65 pounds of fleece and that did not even include his legs. This is first cria BORN ON OUR FARM! He's beautiful, FINE and SOFT. He had more Brown or DK Fawn on his coat and top knot/legs his first year, and at first we called him Rosey. Now we call him A-Mae's "Rosie AMADO" (born in May to Amy, who is known to them as : "A-Mae). At shearing: there's now some GREY coming out immediately beyond amid his dark, TRUE BLACK and beautiful solid looking coat! He gets that from our Sire, his ribbon-winning father, dark silver & brown NIKE & from his grand-dam (our Jasmine-her certificate is "WHO's WHO in SILVERS")! But his dam Nevaeh has exceptional background too! Our little BOY, named "Amado Melaine"? His name means (to us): Amy's "dark or BLACK beauty" with that Grey & Rosey Brown on Black fiber! But AMADO actually probably means "to be loved, or beloved"... or "Love of God." Melaine means "dark or stunning black...beautiful Male". Amy has added some very quality, beautiful alpacas to her herd, so the first to be born directly into her alpaca herd is named AMADO for her (though "WINGS", also close to her heart, is also nicknamed: "A-Mae-Mae Wings", because he initially tried to say her name every time he saw her...after she brought him home with his dam Cotton at two weeks old). We thought about naming him Rosey (for Rosey Greer). So it will at least be a male name soon as we are sending in his blood card and paperwork now. His grand-dam "Jasmine's" Certificate (this farm) shows pretty much "a WHO'S WHO IN THE SILVER AND GREY lines!!!" And grey sire Nike has the White Comet (Vengador's "Accoyo Alexander) heritage as well as the Snowmaster, Hemingway and World Class....Storm lines. Just as important to you would be THOSE YOU WON'T SEE, unless you look at dam or sire papers (this site)! Missing will be: Acero Marka's "Forward Pass" & Snowmass Sierra*, Silver Medal Codi G0790*, SA Pharoah's Princess*, J.D.'s Remington*, Raindrop's Amber*, Peruvian Macusani G204, and Dewey Meadows Ruby! Amado was sired by Nike (our VAOBA ribbon-winning sire of very Dark GREY with outer layer of Dark Brown), and our Jasmine's daughter "NEVAEH" (should have just gone ahead named her dam "Heaven" and not hide it)! Their quality and personality truly is heavenly! His dam, one of the BEST quality females in our herd, is from the Auzengate & Peruvian Accoyo Chimbote family through Nevaeh's sire Chimbotte's Corazon. Nike placed in his only showing in VA before we brought him home! We already had his half brother "Wings"... even better quality, in a GREY and lighter BROWN fiber... just too World Class to pass up, as is his half brother. When you finally get to see AMADO's certificate, you will know many champion names on it! So we are watching Amado Melaine grow with much satisfaction and great interest to see what he becomes in the future.
