Munay is the Quechua word for unconditional, eternal, unreasoned love. It is an attitude of respect and appreciation of everyone and everything, values of our farm. He not only shines in personality, his fleece shines also. Munay is a graceful, proud, kingly macho. Munay's density and fineness are very noticeable as is a consistent lock structure. He has a more than adequate staple length and is a heavy fleece producer with excellent conformation. His qualities earned him a coveted place as a herdsire on our farm where he sired three gorgeous female crias--three for three! His first offspring has a fleece that is virtually identical in density and character to his--she is already a heavy fleece producer! And she has won some nice ribbons, too, a tribute to him since her looks are so identical to him. His other progeny are every bit a copy of Munay's density, luster and handle. His fleece is usually spoken for prior to shearing each year. If I manage to keep a fleece, the roving made from it and yarn yield is phenomenal. I love this boy and while he would make a great addition to your herd sire row, I encourage you to consider a breeding. Call or email for more information.

Solid foundation female

Coffee Pot Peruvian Isabella

Isabella is everything a foundation female should be with excellent bone structure and conformation and a regal bearing. Her sire, Charles P Atlas, has produced some very nice show animals and Isabella is no exception. Izzy has the bloodlines of Quetzel, Timoteo, Matador and 6PAtocha's Gold. Isabella has proven to be an excellent mother and produced two of the animals on our farm, both of which have her very nice demeanor and posess the excellent density, crimp and desirable micron she exhibits in her own fleece. She is easy to do herd health with, yet she prefers to be off with her group of female friends. Isabella's appeal is the ability to breed her to light or dark males due to her white, fawn, and black ancestry. On our farm, her cria reflected the color of the sire. She is a really, really super foundation female. She tends to bring out the best of the sires' characteristics while adding density and crimp. I am looking for the right guy, and if I can find him, she will be bred this spring. Two of her offspring each won first place in their halter class at the 2017 Carolina Alpaca Celebration.

Description

Leia is a great-granddaughter to Caligula G4572, and check out her fantastic, overall Peruvian lineage. Her sire is a macho on our farm. An incredibly calm, graceful and queenly demeanor, Leia is a stately three year old that is a credit to her Peruvian heritage. She has the conformation, density, fineness, crimp and staple length that won her ribbons in the tradition of her sire and dam. Leia exhibits that wonderful roundness of an alpaca with dense fleece--5.5 pounds of prime fiber for her first full year's fleece. Even after one of the hottest summers we've had she sheared over 4 pounds and won the 2017 Cottage Fleece Competition at the Carolina Alpaca Celebration. Her first foray into the ring was at 35 months and the judge was impressed with her solid, bold frame and fleece density, density, density. The judges' recommended breeding match includes a little more staple length and fineness from an equally solid male. (Do YOU have one?) She is still a maiden and can offer your breeding program color background, fine genetics, solid conformation and fiber density. She is just a lovely, lovely girl.
