***Congratulations to Nanduti Heritage Alpacas on the purchase of this outstanding alpaca! We look forward to working with them as they build their herd and transition to ownership!*** --------------------------------------------------------------------------- **With the passing of 6Peruvian Conan, these genetics are at a premium** Rarely do the stars align to create the perfect foundation female alpaca. Gold Dust (Goldie) takes your breath away just looking at her. Goldie’s elite golden vicuna patterned fleece has a buttery soft handle and contains a high frequency crimp that boasts an 18.5 micron count! This fine, yet dense, medium fawn fleece is densely packed onto her strong, sturdy, solid yet feminine frame. Goldie is a perfectly balanced, multiple champion (halter and fleece), feminine female with all the desired traits…proper bite, solid and correct foundation which enables her to move fluidly, a true-to-alpaca phenotyope which is highly desired and sought after appearance AND she is the perfect blend of full Peruvian and Accoyo genetics! No stranger to the show ring, Goldie earned championships from the time she was six months old through to capturing additional banners, blue ribbons, and the Bred & Owned trophy and ribbon several times as a yearling. Examine the ancestry of this outstanding female and you will see the genetics of champions – 6Peruvian Conan IMPR98, PPPeruvian Augusto 6009, and PPeruvian Ruffo G4574. This makes Goldie a paternal sibling to 6x champion Lancaster and prodigy of some of the rarest bloodlines available. All of these sires have contributed enormously to the alpaca industry in the United States and we have no doubt that Goldie will follow in their footsteps. And now…to sweeten the pot, we are adding the grandmaster of them all…4Peruvian Legacy 6016’s genetics are being bred into the next generation! Don’t you wish you had your own Gold Dust?

Description

SALE PENDING ** Nov 2014 - Although now over the age of 2, I am happy to hear that Crusher is still a male that is holding his own in the "sea of whites". Judges comments that he was finer than the yearlings (an accomplishment since Crusher was on lush green pastures all spring and summer!) tells us that he will probably maintain this and have a lingering fineness for a long time. Capturing the 1st place in fleece also tells us that if we had a better skirter, we may have pulled that off as well. We know we can't always compete with those who continually purchase stock from bigger farms, but we are very happy with ones we create with a purpose. This advanced fleece is exactly what the next generations will be infused with…So glad we own him! Two more blues for Crusher! **August 2014 - amazing what a second shearing will do for a fleece. We are excited to be able to bring this male out one last time. As this male matures, we know he will be in the older classes, but we also know that he will get a second glance. He is exactly what a mature stud should be. Consistent, well structured, advanced fleece. Next generation has met its match. "Nicely done" as one judge recently stated. **Update March 2014 - We are thrilled when judges recognize that this is an advanced fleece. It is. It is appreciated when that is recognized. One cannot look at it and not realize it. It is just incredible to look at and feel. Crusher was awarded the Reserve Champion at the Railsplitter Alpaca Show in IL this weekend behind an older Snowmass male. Par for the course, as Crusher is the younger male in his class, so he is usually bringing up the rear in his classes. However, we are thrilled that he is holding his own in these larger classes and getting pulled up against the larger farms. Wait until he comes out in the Fall of 2014….WOW…simply the true to type huacaya you have dreamed about. --------------- This male is a perfect example of what genetic advancement is all about. When both parents are multiple champions, one generally doesn't expect anything less than a "competition crusher". Please say hello to Bonecrusher, a.k.a. "Crusher". And crushing the competition is exactly what he is doing….big farm name competition. Yep…little farm beating big farm. Multiple times. Youngest in class beating older males with comments from judges such as "this male is not only finer, but he is packing more fiber per square centimeter on his frame"…so it isn't just about being young and finer…it is about being a better overall "package"! He has the buttery soft handle, the fineness and density, the correct frame, the true to type style, and the "presence". Bundle it all into one complete animal and allow him to continue to develop and we look forward to his mature years... We knew we were at a disadvantage because we did not shear Bonecrusher when he was a cria before taking him into the show ring, but he has truly held his own. M
