WOW! When we saw this male, we knew we had to have him! We purchased him just before he entered the show ring at Mapaca. Solid, true, blue black with locking to rival any white, Marauder impressed the judges as well! Champion at 2010 Mapaca, the judges comments included that he was the "most unique black male they had ever seen in any country!" They liked him so much that they kept him in the ring after naming the Judges Choice winner to specifically call out his attributes to the audience and stated later that they would have named him judges choice, but, due to the fact that he had been belly shorn, they had to give it to the other male as they could not adequately compare density. What a surprise this girl was! Born a beautiful pearly white, she has gradually grown into an astounding silver/rose gray! Sarah has her mother's upright conformation and great suri head. She gets her really sweet personality from sire Storm, my personal favorite! Bred to Cool Hand Luke, Sarah had a beautiful fawn/white appaloosa male in 2010. UPDATE 2012: Sarah's female cria arrived in May! She is a beautiful dark fawn, sired by AABC Marauder and she is everything we hoped for. Sarona is the medium brown daughter of one of our favorite girls – Modern Silver Gray, Sarah Smile! Her sire is true black, AABC Marauder, a two time Champion/Reserve Champion from the well established breeding program of Ameripaca. Sarona’s dam, Sarah won multiple blue ribbons during her own show career and we expect Sarona to be a great show prospect with her pretty bearded suri head, high luster and slick handling fiber. While we have not yet tested Sarona’s fiber, her parents’ fiber stats are as follows: Sire’s 22 month Histogram included a 20.8AFD, 4.5SD, and 21.8CV (TrueBlack) Dam’s 14 month Histogram included a 24.7AFD, 5.63SD, and 22.76CV (Gray) Update: Sarona's histogram is in - 20.14 AFD,5.69SD Sarona carries the bloodlines of Macgyver, Magnifico, Fruzane Noir, and Captain Morgan.
