SBS Crown Prince Camelot

SuriHerdsire (Male)White
AOA# 30662261DOB: 9/22/200618 yrs
Camelot is included in our herd package! Camelot is a beautiful representation of the Accoyo Crown Royal line. In his very first show, the 2007 Futurity, he was the youngest at just 7 months to place in an extremely tough class of 12 white juveniles. Just 2 weeks later, Camelot was awarded 1st Place at the Ohio Buckeye Show in an equally large and super competitive class! Camelot went on to win 1st Place at AOBA Nationals! Camelot's extreme density and luster placed him at the top of his class of 13 at AOBA. After AOBA Nationals, Camelot was not able to return to the show ring due to an injury to one of his testicles, so we'll never know how he would have done as a returning yearling in the show ring. Happily, his injury has not had an effect on his breeding capabilities! Camelot's daughter, Lady of the Lake placed very well in the show ring - bringing home a Championship Banner as a previously shorn entry! Daughter AvaLon was never shown, however, we were very happily surprised to see her shorn fleece - it was simply fabulous - 5 pounds of very high luster white and fawn fiber at just 11 months old!! Camelot produces offspring with exceptional density, and the heavy bone that Accoyo is known for. Camelot is an easy keeper, a male that gets along well with other males while still being an ardent breeder! While we have not used him in the past few years due to reducing our herd size, I'm sure he will be happy to step up to the plate in providing many more crias!

Dam: PLA Lalique

Reserve Champion Producer!

PLA Lalique

SuriOpen (Female)White
AOA# 1400663DOB: 10/9/200519 yrs
Lalique is included in our herd package! 7/8 Accoyo, sired by Peruvian Baccarat, owned by Wild Rose Suri Ranch, Lalique carries the Santiago and Bruxo lines on her dam's side. With very fine, dense, greasy fleece that has retained it's fineness at 10 years old, she is an excellent choice for anyone wishing to add these accoyo lines to their herd. Lalique's dam is our best foundation female, Just Another Note (JAN). Lalique is a great mom, just like her own dam, calm, nurturing, and delivering easily with lots of milk. Lalique is open and ready to breed! Lalique’s first cria, Lenox, a beautiful white female shows great density and a lot of luster. Lenox took a 5th place in a very large, competitive white class, at 2009 AOBA Nationals at just 6 months old. We liked her first cria Lenox so much that we re-bred Lalique to Scott for a repeat in 2010. Lalique’s second cria, a male is Tiffin! Tiffin did well in the show ring - Reserve Champion at the Georgia Alpaca Challenge, 3rd at Mapaca, and 4th at both Paoba and Buckeye. Anyone who shows white alpacas knows how large and competitive these classes are, so we are pleased that he did so well! Lalique produced another high quality white male in 2014! Lodi is the result of Lalique's breeding to Rio Grande and he did very well in the show ring with 3 - 1sts, 2 - 3rds and a 4th! In addition he was part of the Get of Sire team for his sire, Rio – winning 3 1st s and a 2nd for his dad. Lalique’s retained fineness has been passed to all of her offspring, making her a great foundation female!

Description

Lindini is the daughter of one of our best foundation females, Lalique , and our Crown Royale son Camelot. Both Lalique and Camelot did well in the show ring and have passed on their exceptional fiber characteristics to Lindini. Lalique passes on her fineness, uniformity and exceptional regrowth to each of her crias and Camelot contributes the density one expects in a Crown Royale offspring. Lindini’s half brother on her dam’s side took a Reserve Championship as a White, previously shorn yearling male at the 2011 Georgia Royal Alpaca Challenge. Her half sister on her sire’s side was the Champion as a White, previously shorn yearling female at the 2011 OABA Alpacafest Show. Anyone who has shown white suris, especially in the highly competitive Ohio show, knows what an accomplishment it is to have won these Championships as previously shorn animals! With all the fabulous genetics this girl carries - Accoyo Crown Royale, Ganador, Uribe, Baccarat, Santiago and Bruxo – we expect nothing but great things! Her female relatives have all been great, attentive moms – birthing easily and growing strong healthy crias with their abundance of milk. We have not yet gotten a histogram on Lindini, but her parents and siblings histograms are as follows: Sire at 5 years – 27.6AFD, 5.2SD, 18.9CV Dam at 5.5 years – 23.6AFD, 4.5SD, 19.0CV ½ Brother at 2 years – 22.3AFD, 4.1SD, 18.7CV ½ Sister at 2 years – 23.3AFD,4.4SD, 19.1CV Show Lindini and bring her back for a complimentary breeding to any of our award winning Herdsires including our new two time halter Champion/Reserve Champion male (most recently as a 3 ½ year old!), Pronkers Rio Grande! Rio is a son of Rewind, of the renowned Tillman Suri herd. Rewind “is demonstrably the brightest white suri in America” according to Andy Tillman in his Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM) research. Rio’s 3.5 year histogram showed 22.1AFD, 4.2SD, and 18.8 CV! We are looking forward to Rio’s first crias in the fall of 2013!
