We really are "gobsmacked" by this boy, purchased from Bev and Jason Brehm of Rogue Suri Alpacas! Coppola has had a terrific show career, earning 4 championships (both halter and Walking Fleece) at level 4 or higher shows, plus his first RC at the Alpaca Breeders' Invitational, and beating out his "old man" (Nico) for Color Champion at the 2017 California Classic! Now that he is shorn, I can really get my hands on his fleece---he has incredibly buttery ropey pitch-black locks that are distinctly well-defined and lustrous. It's almost unnatural--I've never seen anything like it. And who ever heard of a True Black male in the TOP 5% EPD for AFD!! His dam, WAP Showtime, is a multi Champion (including Futurity), sired by WAP Bet on Black. She is one of Rogue Suri's best producers. And, of course, Coppola's sire is the fantastic GLR NICO!!-- a multi Champion in his own right! Earning a whopping 12 Championships in halter, fleece and well into his 4th year fleece! Her bloodlines include Pacific Crest Iceman, son of the legendary MacGyver, and known for his extreme fineness. Her dam brings a True Black sire into the mix, so Sugar covers just about every color. Her latest cria, by Saber's Red Storm Rising, is a True Black female who drips with luster and has won numerous blue ribbons. She is an easy breeder and an excellent dam. She has passed on her exceptional luster and elegant conformation to her offspring Sugar has moved to her new digs at Alpacas of Marin in the North San Francisco Bay area. She loves to flirt with the boys, and likes nothing better than to flirt with the boys. This time she's spitting off after her first date with our fantastic True Black Futurity RC, RGSA Coppola!
