Overall this male is excellent! He is a strong male with excellent substance of bone. Perfect Bite. Luster to burn. Locked to the skin in his first fleece AND his second fleece(he won 2 of his 7 championship in his SECOND fleece AND SUPREME FLEECE IAO in his THIRD fleece) He is true to type thru his head and overall proportions, exhibiting fineness, LUSTER, uniformity of character throughout the blanket and excellent density for fineness (see his 08 skin biopsy below!) We expect his progeny to exhibit the same excellent characteristics. Chaska’s dam, Accoyo Suri Princess has produced champion cria after champion cria (5). ACCOYO AMERICA CALAMITY JANE

SuriOpen (Female)White
AOA# 31097369DOB: 5/22/200717 yrs
A daughter of the illustrious Accoyo Apache II and Accoyo Mallory Jane, this lovely girl has brilliant luster and independence of lock. She has an angular, well-covered regal head and a tall, solid, well-conformed frame. She placed First in the White Female class at IAO 2008, Second at the 2008 AOBA National Show, and took impressive fleece show championships as well. CJ's boy by Derwydd Accoyo Chask'a, SoCal's Accoyo Riobamba, took the SUPREME Championship at the International Alpaca Odyssey (2012), and he has several blue ribbons at other shows. His full brother, SoCal Accoyo Tiburon also took several championships--he is co-owned with Derwydd Alpacas and he is on our stud row. Their full sister, Accoyo Amazona is now owned by Alpacas of El Dorado. CJ would do very well bred to our herdsire, Accoyo Kahuna's Giovanni. She comes with a breeding of your choice, which you could transfer to any of your females. Calamity Jane is on our farm, Alpacas of Marin, in the North San Francisco Bay area. PLEASE SCROLL DOWN FOR AWARDS! I DON'T KNOW WHY THEY ARE PLACED SO LOW ON THE PAGE!!

Description

We knew when Riobamba was born that we would need a really GOOD name for him--this boy is something special! He's a full-Accoyo son of 7-time Champion, fawn Accoyo Ch'aska, and his dam is an Apache II daughter with her own blue ribbon to display. Riobamba has DENSITY, beautiful locking and LUSTER to burn. He has an excellent, solid conformation with a level top line and a very nice head. Genetics...you want GENETICS?! Well, his (fawn) sire, Accoyo Ch'aska, just took Get of Sire at the California Classic (with Riobamba in his entry) and is a son of the awe-inspiring Pperuvian Bruxo. His dam, Accoyo Calamity Jane, is a daughter of the famous Apache II--he is a a son of the illustrious Pperuvian Uribe and another marvelous Accoyo import, Dulcinea. Riobamba took his first blue ribbon at AlpacaMania 2011 and another blue ribbon at the Gold Country Gathering. THIS JUST IN...Riobamba just took the SUPREME CHAMPIONSHIP in the Commercial Halter competition at the International Alpaca Odyssey, judged ty Ruth Elvestad and Jenny Jackson ...yes TWO International judges agreed that he was the best male Suri, any color, any age, in the show!! They loved his "stylish" presentation, the luster and density of his locks, and his strong, straight conformation. What...ANOTHER COLOR CHAMPIONSHIP?! This time at the California Classic, judged by Jill MacLeod. Way to go, Riobamba!! CONGRATULATIONS TO ROY BERNARD OF BOCA RATON, FL!! HE HAS PURCHASED RIOBAMBA AND WILL BE AGISTING HIM AT WEST PENN ALPACAS IN PENNSYLVANIA!! WELL DONE, ROY!!
