Derwydd Peruvian Inti-Siqay

HuacayaOpen (Female)Light Fawn
DOB: 10/24/200618 yrs
Having lost to Derwydd Peruvian Inti-Siqay (aka "Suzy") several times in the show ring, I was honored to be able to buy her at the 2008 AOBA auction! She is a light fawn female with a well-balanced medium frame. She has a dark fawn spot on her right front leg--some would say she is dark fawn with a large light fawn spot. She certainly can pass dark genetics, as demonstrated by her multichampion TB son, Torrefacto! Suzy's pedigree is outstanding--her sire is Derwydd Peruvian Inti-Sapa, producer of many champion offspring, and her dam is an Accoyo Vengador daughter with several champion crias. Suzy has that "in your face" crimp and definition of bundles that is sooo sexy! It has won her important championships in halter AND fleece competition. She is DENSE, with bright fleece. Look at her award-winning offspring--OH! And see that she can produce BLACK...and SILVER GREY!! She is an excellent mother and was bred again to our black champion male, Dundee's AJ Stormcat--sire of her multi champion son,Torrefacto. Suzy is spitting off now from her breeding to Stormcat! That means a cria in early July, 2018!

Description

This girl is a real "sleeper"! At first you think, "just another fawn female", but then you are captured by those lovely eyes lined with black (her sire is a Bay Black son of one of the all-time top Accoyo Peruvian imports--the late Accoyo Royal Fawn!) And her dam collected an impressive array of championships in her show career, finishing off with Reserve Color Champion Fleece at the AOBA/World Competition! Sausalito will start her own competitions this spring, but we're already looking forward to future as a foundation female. She has a perfect, balanced conformation, moving lightly on her feet across the pasture. Her fleece has excellent bundling and architecture and she has very good density. We'll see what the judges have to say, but we know she will produce elite offspring! Sausalito is sold to Gayle Marquess of Hawaii! Aloha, Sausalito and Mahalo, Gayle!
