Ricochet's pinto male cria from fall '05 (FMR Samurai) won Color Campion in Denver's Great Western in May '06 and also just took 2nd at AOBA's National Show in Louisville 2 weeks later. We also just had another Ricochet cria, a super high luster (of course!) MF female out of a LF dam. Ricochet is a Full Peruvian grandson of Inca Hoots. White with Med. Brown around his eyes and dark pigment in his nose and nails. He has some of the best lock and luster you'll see...and staple length, wow! Shorn at 18 months he had locks over 14" and at a show 3 months later planning to show for confirmation in the shorn class, he had grown too much and had to show full fleece! Shorn the second time 11 months later he had 9" locks. He settled his first females Sept. '03. The first picture is taken out in the pasture, no prep...look at the luster! His cria are exceptional! He puts a good suri head, great coverage (chin to toes), intense lock and very high luster on his cria! Note: Ricochet continues to impress us as a herdsire. We had 2 drop-dead gorgeous cria out of Ricochet in fall ('05). One is all white (Symphony's Concerto) and the other white/medium fawn pattern (Samurai) (both dams are white)...both have exceptional lock, luster and coverage; and both took 1st place at their debut show! 1368383<--ari-->Beige<--color-->From the moment I set my eyes on this male, I knew I had to have him! He has attitude and phenomenal presence that makes people pay attention to him. He has a great suri head which gives him the expression of always smirking. He has that upright posture, with stick straight legs, heavy bone conformation and perfect balance. Ric Roc's straight suri locks are completely consistent from his topknot to his tail full of luster. His black skin and pigment and the small fawn patches on his shoulder and head are intriguing and should be an asset to our breeding program. His rare genetics will be an asset too - he is a full Peruvian great grandson of Inca Hoots. We plan on putting Ric Roc to work spring of 2009. His 2007 Micron results: FD=18.8, SD=4.5, CV=23.9, 1.8>30u Ric Roc recently settled his first female - with one breeding! <--description-->
