Description

It's not often that you get the chance to tap into proven GREAT bloodlines. Manchu is son of PCA Accoyo El Nino. The Accoyo America breeding program needs no introduction, and Manchu is an example of the continuing impact Greg Mechlem's program had on the national alpaca herd improvement. Manchu, a multiple color champion in the showring, has multiple color champion offspring, colors ranging from white, beige, fawn and brown. With 2013 yearling fleece stats of 17.9/ 3.6/ 20.2 and at 9 years old: 24.2/ 4.4/ 18.1 and shear weight of 14.6lbs, Manchu is retaining fleece qualities that we want. He has stood the test of time and even as we enter the scientific world of EPD's Manchu excels. His 2014 Fleece EPDs put him in the top 1% in the Nation. We have the privilege of hosting this elite male here at Stonyridge Alpacas for the 2015 Breeding season. He will be here Mid June through October, so if you have a female you would like to raise the bar on a breeding to a top male, give this guy a look. He has over 93 offspring on the ground, including color when bred to color. What an amazing opportunity to step up fleece quality.
