Liberty Girl is one of those tried & true foundation girls. She was a blue ribbon show girl, and now has produced two blue ribbon offspring in silver and rose, and a third who is currently in the show ring. If you are looking for a dependable producer of quality kids, who is an AWESOME mother, Libby is your girl. Libby has a wonderful pedigree of Peruvian/Accoyo genetics, and perfect conformation with a stunning head, balanced conformation, excellent body capacity, size of bone, broad chest, well sprung ribs, and strong hindquarters with a beautiful presence, that makes her one of our favorites. Her fleece is a rich dark rose grey with a great first histogram of 19.9/5.0/25.1/3.7 and excellent coverage, density, and staple length. She has maintained wonderful fleece stats & now at 5 years old produces the heaviest shear weight of the herd while maintaining excellent histogram numbers for a "working girl". She is an excellent mom, breeds easily, carry's trouble free pregnancies, has tons of milk, and on top of that produces awesome babies. Her chocolate cria fleece turned dark rose grey by her yearling shows, and the rest is history. We bred her to silver grey Aussie Rockford to test her grey genetics, and she excelled. Her first cria is Silver Allusion, a gorgeous medium silver grey female pregnant with her first cria. With such success why change the formula so right back to Rockford she went. Her second cria is a stunning medium rose grey male, Arrakis, who is standing stud at Santa Clause Alpacas in Indiana. Her third Rockford cria is last year's Encore. Encore has the same taupey/chocolate Libby had as a youngster, but with Rockford as her sire, and grey tip on her tail we know she will be a grey producer. Libby's '10 addition to the cria barn is a lovely bay black male sired by Xanadu After Hours. Jazz After Midnight is included in Libby's purchase price until he is weaned. Libby is currently bred to our 3X’s Reserve Color Champion, After Hours for a repeat of Jazz in 2011.

SOLD - Congratulations to Kim Kline of Havenfield Farm in Birdsboro, PA. Words fail to describe the many attributes of this male, and we're thrilled that he has a chance to work on the East Coast. The judges agree with our assessment of his potential with 3 times 1st Place and Reserve Champion, 1st Place at 2005 GWAS, 2nd Place at AAA Futurity, and 2nd Place at 2005 AOBA Nationals. He is a stunning boy with an amazing temperament. Now with over 35 cria on the ground it is clear that After Hours is delivering in the breeding barn. We can safely say (as safe as genetic predictions can be) that After Hours is consistently producing cookie cutter replica's of himself. From deep black & grey color pedigrees he has produced black or grey in 11 of the 12 black & grey dams bred to him. Females that bring other colors both in phenotype & genotype he tends to let the dam's color come through. He has produced gorgeous maroons & fawns with excellent fleece character and high frequency crimp. One thing for sure. His kids have his boxy true-to-type huacaya frame, substantial bone & stunning head all covered in crimpy, dense, bundled fleece. His offspring that have been shown have represented their owners well. The latest is our own Bellatrix taking 1st in both conformation and fleece at the 2009 AROW Composite show & snagging the Color Championship in a combined class of Blacks & Browns and Reserve Championship at 2010 PNAA out of 25 blacks. Description

Silver Allusion (Allie) comes by her name naturally. She is a captivating Aussie Rockford daughter out of our dark rose grey Vic. Jr. daughter, Libby. Libby was born a deep chocolate brown, but her yearling show experience put her in the dark rose grey class, so her pairing with Silver Grey Rockford seemed a likely choice, and this stunning female exceeds our expectations. Allie's conformation & typey good looks are perfect, and she has excellent coverage in an even steele grey with a lovely hand, soft crimp, and above average staple length. Her dam, Liberty Girl, is an excellent example of the power of the combining the tried and true attributes of Accoyo Victor with Hemingway in Libby's sire, Victor's Vic Jr. We are thrilled to combine the Victor and Felix bloodlines in this grey package. Her bright soft fleece is showing the characteristic crimp of Rockford kids as they near their first birthday, and she possesses the density and exceptional staple length of her dam. She finished the 2008 show season with a bang at AlpacaMania. Judge David Barbosa placed her first in a competitive class of grey yearling females. Her fineness advantage, excellent brightness, consistent crimp style, and density placed her at the head of her class of 8. She is a stunning addition to this year's cria crop, and destined to be a cornerstone foundation girl. We believe she has what it takes in genetics and phenotype to produce the next generation of elite grey alpacas, and with the increasing numbers of top quality grey studs out there, Allie has a lengthy list of possible mates. For her maiden breeding we've chosen Bisturi, an awesome silver male standing at Amanda Vandenbosch's Flying Dutchman Farm. Bisturi shows wonderful fleece traits and conformation that we look for in a breeding male. This breeding produced a lovely silver grey male in June. Allie is bred to Xanadu After Hours for September 2011. After Hours has produced multiple grey offspring from grey Rockford daughters, so we are waiting to see what this match will bring.
