2013 DARK FUTURITY HERDSIRE OF THE YEAR 2011 RESERVE FUTURITY HERDSIRE OF THE YEAR 2013 FUTURITY DARK GET CLASS WINNER TOP RANKING MSL AND FW EPD'S Futurity Judges Choice video. Chakotah in 2011 had a son win four Judges Choice awards, (Pucara) Chakotah's Wyuna, and a daughter, Buzz n Hum Layla who won GWAS 2011 Judges Choice. Chakotah ALSO won the Nationals and GWAS Get classes with our Pucara Kahuna, his grandfather, in second both times. His cria won championships and ribbons in many shows all over the country. When we first started our alpaca farm here in the US the first sale we made of our own suris was to Ann and Bill Rogers at CCR Alpacas. We asked Ann and Bill if they would let us know when one of those girl's, Kalina, had her cria and we would consider purchasing it. As it turned out they decided to send Kalina along with several of our own females to be bred to Moon River's Durango, at our sincere urging!!! Jude and I adored Durango. He was a stand out in the show ring winning a championship in all his shows but more importantly to us he had exquisite genetics. Those breedings produced two national Champions for us and several ribbon winners. When Kalina gave birth Ann excitedly called us and raved about the cria. Well we know owners get a bit barn blind about their animals so we asked for pics....man oh man, he looked fabulous. We visited CCR Alpacas soon thereafter and purchased a half share of this boy, Chakotah....at two months of age!!! It's insane, the first time we have been so bold but in the flesh he even looked better than the pics. The Kahuna daughter, Kalina, had produced a knockout cria. Chakotah's performance in the show ring has been exemplary. He exhibits extreme greasy luster, super silky handle, density in thick well defined locks from one end of his sturdy frame to the other and fineness. All with a proud masculine head on a well balanced body. As a mature male his frame is magnificent. Everything a stud male suri should be approaching 10 years of age - head style, frame, chest capacity, and above all great libido and fertility. Was this to be expected from the intial breeding. We hoped so because it was the marriage of genetics from Peruvian Bruxo, Peruvian Uribe, Peruvian Augustina (McGyver's mom), Pperuvian Amador and Peruvian Cadete (Accoyo foundation herdsires of our female herd), Pucara Kahuna and Pucara Allegro who had 37 championship winning cria in Australia of which 17 won Best in Show! The odds were stacked in our favor and are now stacked in yours because there is little room for deviation of outcome with this punch of prepotence. If you have a good female you'll get a great cria with this breeding. Chakotah kids have been wowing them all over the country. They have won championships and Judges Choice Awards in strong company !!! We think he is turning out to be every bit as good if not better than his grandfather Kahuna! The show kids have won championships in both color a

Accoyo America Honeybunch

SuriOpen (Female)Medium Fawn
AOA# 851801DOB: 8/2/200321 yrs
This lovely alpaca is one of FOUR suris currently boarded here at Stonyridge, and due to a change in their owners financial situation, she needs to part with her treasured alpacas as quickly as possible. We're looking for a responsible and caring home for them, and will consider giving them to an approved home. See Heavensent as well as Chakotah's Lance, and Kahuna's White Robe for the complete package. These four suris represent the absolute best out of Pacific Crest and Pacura International breeding programs here on the West Coast. Looking for top Suri Bloodlines? Doesn't get much better than this. Accoyo America Honeybunch is a full Peruvian/ 3/4 Accoyo Proven female out of Accoyo America's highly successful breeding program. Out of a Helios daughter, and sired by NGG Accoyo Apache, HoneyBunch is a goldmine of Suri Bloodlines. Honeybunch is a stellar foundation girl, easy breeder, excellent mom with abundant milk, and strong mothering instincts. She produces show quality offspring as shown by her 2012 male Chakotah son. An added bonus is her color producing ability. Chakotah's Lance, her 2012 cria is a rich medium brown with a lustrous fleece on a compact square frame with a true to type suri head. This typey show boy was shown in the spring 2013 shows and placed in both shows bringing home a second place from PNAA. Opportunities like this do not come along often, and if you are looking to expand and improve the bloodlines in your suri herd, this could be your chance. We need to have the two dams and their cria go as a package. "Buyer" is reponsible for any vet exam and transport expenses.

Description

If you are looking to raise the bar in your colored suri breeding program, Chakotah’s Lance is worth a serious look. His pedigree pulls together the best of West Coast Suri bloodlines. My focus has been on the fabulous suri, and last year’s cria crop produced two stellar males. Lance’s dam, Accoyo America Heavensent represents the proven bloodlines out of Greg Mechlem’s Accoyo America breeding program. His sire, Chakotah of CCR Suris, has made his mark in the show ring, and now in the breeding pen. 2013 Dark Futurity herdsire of the year, Chakotah has produced another success in this young male. Medium to Dark Brown with reflective luster, and slick hand, Lance will add serious color to your suri breeding program. Lance is a stunning male covered in a dense lustrous fleece. A result of the melding of Accoyo America and Pucara International breeding programs, his pedigree reads like a who’s who in the suri world. Compact, correct conformation, true to type suri head, and macho attitude make him stand out in the herd. We understand the risks of purchasing a junior herdsire, but this boy has the power of pedigree behind him, and deserves a run in the breeding pen. If you are looking to up your quality, his pedigree is stacked with four generations of the best in the suri world: Peruvian Bruxo, Augustina, Uribe, DDF Macgyver, Pucara Kahuna, Helios & DDF Gracie #7 makes for a power packed ARI all wrapped up in a bright package that can take you to the top. With quality genetics in every branch of this boy’s family tree, he has great promise, and this show boy can be yours. This boy can be on your show team, and take his turn in the breeding pen. I am serious about finding an excellent situation for this young boy. Why wait 12 months and hope you get a boy as nice as this? Here you have him, in the flesh and you can see his potential. Lance carries himself in an upright self carried frame, has wonderful presence, excellent size of bone. His dam has a record of quality offspring, births flawlessly, and has incredible milk production, and mothering skills. All traits we think important to pass on.
