Ryder is a gorgeous True Black male that we are proud to have in our herdsire lineup! Do you want BEAUTIFUL, crimpy, bright and uniform fleece???...RYDER has it! Do you want a refined and beautiful head???...RYDER has it!! Do you want a strong history of color???...RYDER has it!!! Do you want a strong history of winners???...RYDER has it!!!! Do you want color AND Caligula bloodlines???...RYDER has it!!!!! Do you want GREY???...Ryder can do it!!!! Do you want to breed to a COLOR CHAMPION and Multiple BLUE ribbon winner???...RYDER is IT!!!!!! Look no further, come and check out Ryder and you will agree, this boy has everything you want to pass along to your next generation of crias. Beautiful, Bright and BLACK crimp from skin to bundled tips. Soft and buttery handle when you work your hands into his fleece. A stylish head, perfect conformation and excellent presence. A Color Champion himself and also hailing from a line of Color Champions including his sire, Maple Brook Sapphire and his paternal Grandsire, Brittany's Desparado, who is a multiple Blue ribbon winner and Get of Sire winner at the Big E in 2002! Plus his Dam's side which includes the legendary Caligula! Take a look at Ryder's histogram and note that ***these numbers reflect his fiber stats at 9 YEARS of age!*** Though many of the cria that Ryder has sired at Pronkin' Pastures are lighter in color, make no mistake, he can and does throw black! We have very few black females in our herd and chosen to breed him to many of our lighter colored girls. Interested in seeing more of Ryder's fantastic offspring? Take a look at his offspring record on Alpacas of Alagaesia's 'sold' listing page. In the interest of keeping genetic diversity in our herd, we will consider breed trades and lease options. Contact us for details. Ryder has been a great asset to our herd and think he can add value to yours too!

Merrimac's Tess

HuacayaOpen (Female)Dark Brown
AOA# 30678323DOB: 9/3/200618 yrs
Accoyo bloodlines from her sire, Australian bloodlines from her dam, deep rich color, lovely solid compact conformation and the cutest face ever – that’s Tess! Tess is easily handled and has a calm temperament. She has been easy to breed, gives birth easily and is a very attentive mother with rich milk for her babies. Tess has birthed 2 lovely female cria, a gorgeous bay black male with herdsire potential, and a stunning true black boy. Although different in color, all her ciras have excellent structure with heavy bone, deep chest on a compact frame, soft, crimpy, lovely fleece and easy dispositions. Tess had a uterine prolapse with the delivery of her 2014 cria, so we have removed her from our breeding program. Tess is available as a fiber or companion animal only. We would like to see Tess in a good home and can flexible on pricing depending on her new situation. Tess can be available as a companion at no cost with the purchase of any other breeding female in our herd.

Description

This boy hit the ground with the proud presence of a herdsire and is maturing into what looks like a carbon copy of his daddy, our Color Champion and Multiple Blue Ribbon winning herdsire, SCF Black Ryder. This boy shows lots of potential! Morgan is an eye-catching boy that stands out in the herd with his proud presence and style, but his fleece is what it's all about. And boy does Morgan have it - lot's of it! He is densely covered from topknot to toes in rich bay black fleece with a bold crimp style and a soft, soft buttery hand. Deep in color and with fine fleece characteristics, it's the kind of fleece you just want to snuggle up into! We had all intentions of adding Morgan to our herdsire line-up, but as he is maturing we have noticed his bite is less than perfect, so regrettably, we are offering him as an awesome fiber animal and have reduced his price accordingly.
