HuacayaHerdsire (Male)Light Fawn
AOA# 812061DOB: 1/28/199925 yrs
Look for Royal Avenger at the Breeders Edge Auction in August! It was a difficult decision but it's one we needed to make. We have decided to sell our interest in Royal Avenger. He has produced some outstanding offspring for us and is a wonderful male with a delightful temperament. The only problem is that we now have too many that are related to Royal Fawn; we are at the point where we need to introduce some new genetics into our herd. You've seen him and you've seen his offspring in the show ring. They are truly remarkable. There's no doubt--he will improve your herd. Royal Avenger has proven to be the next generation of Accoyo excellence to sire a clan of superior offspring. His sire, Royal Fawn, is a producer of champions and one of the highest selling herdsires in history. His dam, Mariah, is also a producer of many ribbon winners. Avenger’s show record is noteworthy with nine blue ribbons, a reserve color champion and two color championships. His offspring have demonstrated that they have what it takes to be champions in the showring, compiling win after win against tough competition. At the age of 10, Avenger maintains a fleece that is extremely dense with bundles and crimp. His coverage is phenomenal from his full bonnet down his strong-boned legs. As if that were not enough accolades, he is a confident breeder with a gentle temperament. Whether you're looking for fine fiber qualities or color, you can achieve both. He has produced offspring from white, to fawn, to brown, to true black, and even grey. The possibilities are limitless. Avenger is on the path already to becoming one of the most recognized herdsires in North America and will continue to breed success. Avenger is co-owned with Stachowski Alpacas who is also selling their interest.

Consistent quality producer

AWI Sweet Caroline

AOA# 840484DOB: 5/15/200222 yrs
One of our better foundation producers over the years, Caroline, could help any farms density and fineness. This is the type of female that newer farms should be buying up , so that they can save years catching up in quality to the farms thats been around for a decade and more. Caroline has given us 5 outstanding crias. Our lingering fine and very dense herdsire, 24 Karat Gold, is from Caroline and is 7 years old and holding a 21 AFD. Her female , Ceelee is holding 16.2 afd age 3, and her last boy just sold with a 16 AFD age 1 !!...... so you see what she can do.These production offspring are of the highest quality and she has not been for sale for the last 7 years. Some smart shopper is going to scoop this girl up fairly fast, so dont hesitate too long. We did not breed her last year, but she could be bred for free this year if you buy before winter. We cannot breed every female on our farm these days, and are choosing to breed some of our younger females over the next couple of years, so this is the only reason Caroline is available. Sweet Caroline is amazingly dense shearing 9.5lbs of incredibly fine, crimpy, color champion winning fleece. We love this girl!. Her sire, Accoyo Grand Triumph sold for $100,000 back in 2004. Caroline has another famous sire in her background by the name of Accoyo Amadeus . He is a rare , highly sought after bloodline because he was sold to Europe and had few offspring while in States An interesting personality trait of Carolines her conpulsion to give strangers a kiss on the nose within about 30 minutes......Its really quite interesting. We just wonder what is going on in that girls brain! Caroline is 3/4 Accoyo girl bred to our fawn full Accoyo champion Cabos. We look for a fawn offspring as Caroline has given us fawn twice. Caroline is a large girl Prancing around very upright in her pasture. She has excellent mothering skills. Her dam Mary Lou still possesses a nifty micron at age 6 19.4 mic SD 3.1 CV 16.0% .

Description

Wow, Gold crias hitting the ground and exhibiting very low micron fineness and suri brightness. Exciting! Dark brown cria out of a white dam leads us to believe Gold covers black. Another 14 micron brown 24KGold cria. He is passing on some terrific heads also "Best fleece in his class" were the words to describe Gold in his first show at 2006 OABA Alpacafest. "this is the finest fleece I've seen in a 2+ male class"...Wade Geese '08 Indeed, Gold has maintained an incredible fineness for his age, 19 micron at 10 years old, simply GOLDen! Sweet Caroline, his dam, comes from an outstanding Champion producing dam, Mary Lou. Caroline's grandsire is Accoyo Amedeus,a much sought after but very rare bloodline in the States, as he was sold to a farm in Europe. Grand Triumph is Sweet Caroline's Sire. And lets not forget Gold's sire, Royal Accoyo Avenger. That makes Gold 7/8ths Accoyo Fawn! Deepstep Creek Alpacas co-owns 24 Karat Gold with Carolyn and Don Marquette of The AlpacaRosa.
