2011 marks the second cria crop at KJ Alpacas for Cimarron Gold Legend. We are very pleased with his crias to date and 2011 started out with a brown girl, the densest cria ever...followed up by a rose grey boy with extreme look and fibre and we ended with a beautiful medium fawn girl...a GL look alike. We couldn't be happier with GL's production! Now into 2012, GL is still producing incredible results! A champion producing champions! If you need to increase your "female cria" production...GL will deliver! 13 crias to date and only 3 boys! If you are looking for long staple length, excellent defined character, bright shiny fleeces and excellent temperments, GL is your guy.

Shazzy is an incredible dark brown female, who's full brother is Bentley Alyst, a multiple champion who produces champions. Shazzy herself has won many ribbons before being added to the breeding program. Her fleece is very soft, dense with an excellent crimp style and very long staple length, all put together of a very solid body with perfect confirmation and bite. She is a treat as well, sticking her mouth on the hose to drink from it and always bothering you for food. An easy breeder and birther with PLENTY of milk. Shazzy has made a hit with every male she's been bred to. Her ability to throw a great range of colour, and for her daughters to as well (including 3x Black Champion Aftershock) has made her a great foundation female. The producer of multiple champions, she truly has changed our program. We've decided to sell Shazzy, as we own her daughter and her lines are becoming quite popular in our herd. We have a lot of young females coming of age, and want to maintain an ideal herd size so we are offering Shazzy at a steal of a deal. We will be very sad to see this very expressive girl go, but she truly will make a GREAT foundation female for any herd. She's priced according to age, not to quality. She is part of our Female Sale, and comes with a breeding upon negotiation. We ship to any part of the world as we are located very close to a certified Quarantine Facility owned by our partners over at Hubbert Farms. All costs of quarantine included in sale price except for transportation outside of Canada. Free delivery up to 200km.

Description

Tempest is quite the joy to have on the farm, she is very friendly, always coming up for a neck scratch or to nibble on your clothing. She hit the ground running at 26.5 pounds and hasn't stop since. At 2 months old Tempest weighed in at 61.5 pounds. Definitely a little chunker! She is exhibiting excellent character, density, and fineness in her fleece and boy is it long! She has crazy coverage all the way from her toes into her cheeks. Her full sister, KJ's Legend's Mirage is the 2011 AO Show brown champion and her 2nd fleece is coming in fabulous. Mother, Shazzy has exceptional presence, fleece qualities and is an excellent producer. Cimarron Gold Legend is a new male to Canada with very limited genetics. Tempest is one of only three Gold Legend crias in Ontario. GL has great fleece stats and obtained many championships in the states during his show career. UPDATE: WOW! Tempest is maturing into a very beautiful young female. She has a very fine, dense, shiny fleece with a very nice desirable crimp-style. She has just earned her first championship at the CNASF East 2012
