**Pearl has been bred to multiple champion SASA Michelangelo's Pacino for a 2013 cria!** "Princess Pearl" as she is known around the farm, carries the unique blending of My Peruvian Justice (an Augusto son) and Dewey Meadows Linen (a Dewey Meadows Woolite daughter). Both of these parents and grandparents are multiple blue ribbon and championship winners and PRODUCERS. (Pearl's mother - Linen - also produced our multiple champion, Kohana - these bloodlines are exactly what you want in your foundations! Rock solid seed stock.) Pearl has a very typey head and dense, yet fine fiber. Her conformation is flawless, movement fluid and correct, and her fiber is divine. Princess Pearl has given us 7x white male champion - Salt Creek's Takoda. This past fall, she gave us a bright white female (sire is Snowmass Celtic Lace) named Salt Creek's Pearls N Lace! The fineness, brightness, and density of this cria are all simply phenomenal. We can't wait to get her to shows... Because we will be breeding Pearl's 7x champion son (Takoda) to our females, we have the genetics we need in our herd. We are offering Pearl at a drastically reduced price so that another farm can take advantage of these outstanding genetics.

Description

We are thrilled and honored to announce that Salt Creek's Takoda is now co-owned with the farm that produced him, Salt Creek Alpacas. We already own Takoda's sire, Status Symbol SSMRT, but the opportunity to own a proven son that has taken championships amid tough competition was altogether too enticing. There is no doubt, in reviewing his pedigree, that Takoda was the result of thoughtful, careful breeding. With an equally strong dam line that carries significant color, we have no doubt that Takoda can support color with ease! Take a good look at the 2013 histogram provided here -- that is at five years! When you are seeking to add lasting fineness to your herd (and who isn't), you will know this is one of the go to guys. In terms of conformation, this is a male that will please a discerning eye that seeks out elegance of carriage and balance, those extra elements that go beyond mere correct physical structure. Takoda will be here at Hidden Hill Farm Alpacas in just a few weeks' time. Come visit us and see this beautiful male, and take advantage of our unadvertised breeding specials to this male. I am reasonably confident that, when his kids start to hit the show-ring in the east, he will be a sought after herdsire indeed!
