Description
Grace is a true NON-FADING black female with crimpy, lustrous fleece with a soft handle, excellent conformation, and a quiet disposition. Her half-PERUVIAN, half-CHILEAN ancestry is heavily weighted with GREY and BLACK genetics. Of GRACE's ten [10] registered ancestors, 50% are SILVER GREY, 40% are TRUE BLACK, and 10% are FAWN.
GRACE is a wonderful dam with plenty of milk. Bred in to our FULL PERUVIAN, AOBA award-winning herd sire, MOJITO, GRACE produced RAMBEAU, a handsome male with lustrous, crimpy, and fine BAY BLACK fleece and full-face coverage as a cria. [See RAMBEAU's page.] MOJITO, has consistently demonstrated the ability to sire fine-fleeced crias with excellent conformation and great personalities, and RAMBEAU, is not an exception.

GRACE's sire, HA HOLY SMOKE, & her paternal grandsire, 5Peruvian SILVERADO, are FULL PERUVIAN SILVER GREYs. GRACE's dam, as well as her maternal grandsire, and a maternal great grandsire, are FULL CHILEAN SILVER GREYs. CHILEAN alpacas have historically brought desirable fineness and, of course, genetic diversity into the alpaca gene pool. The famous SILVER GREY A.L. Pact's REVOLUTION, who has won 17 Championships, among numerous other awards, has CHILEAN ancestry in BOTH his paternal and his maternal lines. She'll certainly be an asset to a GREY and/or BLACK breeding program.
GRACE's sire, HA HOLY SMOKE, a FULL Peruvian GREY, won BLUE ribbons at AOBA and MAPACA, as well as a RESERVE CHAMPIONSHIP at PAOBA. His crias have great heads, good bone, and dense, crimpy fleeces.
GRACE’s dam, KPR PRAIRIE GIRL [silver grey] produced 8 of 11 GREY offspring, and several of PRAIRIE GIRL’s offspring [Ameripaca’s PRAIRIE LEGEND, Americpaca’s PAISLEY, PRESTON GREY, and PARIS HILTON] did very well in the show ring.
GRACE's paternal grandsire, 5Peruvian SILVERADO, WESTERN OHIO TRIPLE CROWN Get-of-Sire winner, has been one of the most prolific FULL PERUVIAN grey herd sires in the country. He is best known for producing award-winning, crimpy-fleeced offspring with outstanding density and a soft handle with little or no guard hair. SILVERADO was hand-selected out of the Sollocota Region in Peru by veterinarian and alpaca importer, Anthony STACHOWSKI, DVM, who chose SILVERADO for his own herd.
