Melody is a very dense proven producer of color even when bred to white. Her first cria was Music, a bay black from the white herdsire Peter The Great of Alpacas By The Sea. We then bred her to silver grey Aussie Rockford and she again gave us a black female, El Dorado Midnight Madness. Her third breeding was to Studmaster Brunello and she produced a true black male Johnny Cash who has awesome fiber. Since she has such strong color genetics we had decided to breed her to Studmaster male MFI Peruvian Providence and have gotten exactly what we had hoped for, a combination of her strong color and his elite fiber characteristics. Since we now have two breeding females from her we are offering her for sale at a fair price. Again we bred her to our Elite male MFI Peruvian Providence. Born on her due date and gaining 1 lb. per day this little gem took us by surprise! We knew Providence had strong white genetics and this offspring prooves it. With plenty of dark genetics behind her and with Providence's popcorn fleece characteristics this little female should be a fantastic addition to anyones breeding program. Melody can be bred to our Glacial Storm son El Dorado Goldpanner when she is ready. This will bring out finess and color in the future cria. Judge Sharon Loner called Sammo a "FANTASTIC MALE" at the 2015 California Classic! In the championship round she found he was finer fleeced than the juvenile male of the class! Sammo's 2014 fleece took a 2nd place at the 2015 Great Western Alpaca Show where Judge Wini Labrecque noted an exceptionally fine fleece exhibiting good brightness and hand. And Sammo scored very high in his Walking Fleece class at the 2015 West Coast Alpaca Show, taking First Place. Judge Wini Lebrecque commented that he was very fine, dense and uniform with a low amount of guard hair mainly on the britch/belly. She was so taken with Sammo that, in the awards ceremony, she commented that she thought he might have taken the Winners Cup! This is high praise for a 2 year old gray male!!! Sammo has grown up to be quite the Macho! His first cria are on the ground and they are very nice, indeed! At just 6 months, his boy Azzreal took first place in a very competitive black juvenile class at the 2016 Gold Country Gathering. We can't wait to see how these cria grow up! Do you know that there are no other offspring from her herdsire the famous Peter Tag No 1010 AKA Peter the Great, from Alpacas by the Sea that are black, except Music? And, is black black black not bay black according to the shearers who have shorn her. For her 2013 cria, we bred Music to NeverSummer's American Iron, a five time champion with amazing genetics, lots of famous ancestors. His pedigree is very deep, very proven. Beyond that he has fantastic fineness and consistency thruout his fleece, beautiful hand, stocky bone, and BEST HEAD IAO 2011!! He's classified as a medium rose gray, but has so many colors in his fleece that it's ike a rainbow! And take a look at Iron's Cria! He's a gorgeous medium brown with black points. And look at him pose for the camera! Oh and the Cria fleece is amazing! We can't wait to see how he grows out. Music's 2012 cria by Peruvian Francisco is a girl. We were hoping for black, but Bella is a light fawn beauty! And look at her pose at the 2013 California Classic. She is already showing great promise! For her 2016 cria we bred Music to Sentinal's Denali, our amazing light rose grey herdsire. Her previous three cria have amazing fiber quality and we expect more of the same from this pairing.
