Description
Troubador has excellent conformation and a very solid build. He's a beautiful, chocolate color with black points and great (as the photos show) presence. His fleece is bright, extremely dense, with a medium amplitude crimp and a soft handle. He took first place at the 2009 California Classic where the judge was surprised at the quality of his fleece.
Troubador has quite a few cria on the ground and they are carrying his conformation, density and coverage. So far he has given us true black and medium brown out of colored dams and medium brown out of white. We've been watching to see how his characteristics cover the various dams we've used and have high hopes for his future offspring.
Troubador makes beautiful cria! This is not a sale we will take lightly as we are still using him in our breeding program. But we are a small farm and think he may have more potential in another herd with different genetics. We'd love to discuss our thoughts on this with you!
