ATV Rockerfeller

HuacayaHerdsire (Male)Medium Fawn
AOA# 20022730DOB: 5/10/200519 yrs
ATV Rockerfeller is a proud and beautiful boy, with a compact body and incredibly long legs. His sire, Accoyo Legacy, was the most expensive herdsire in the country, a half-interest selling for $750,000. Legacy was famous for stamping his imprimatur on all his crias, passing on fine fleece, crimp, and density, lots of density. He also passes on correct conformation. Rock also has Accoyo Elite as his grandsire on his dam's side as well as Peruvian Don Julio. Elite is famous for long-lasting fineness of fleece, and Don Julio passes on great fleece architecture. A great combination in one herdsire. We bred him to just two of our lesser girls in 2008 when we bought him. The picture of the fawn fleece on the farm page is from one of his cria on our farm. This cria was out of a white girl with no crimp to her fleece and not much of it, although her fleece was still admirably fine for her age. 2009 brought us three girls. By the way, he has thrown 86% girls so far. The first girl tested out at 14.1 microns, with density and beautiful crimp. Four more crias were born in 2011, three females and one male. The fleece structure of all four is outstanding.EPD's are the key to fleece production and future great offspring. Rockerfeller has very good EPD's and several of his offspring have numbers equaling THE TOP 1% of EPDs in the country! Rockerfeller gets rid of the %over30 microns category. He turns primary hair into within .04% of the micron count of secondary hair!! Take a look at Peruvian Betty or Mae West. Betty's AFD equals the top 1% in the country, as does her spin fineness, her percentage of over 30%, and her MSL. Her other numbers are equal to the top 2% to 4% of 40,000 alpacas tested in 2012 and researched by ARI. This male can greatly further your herd with absolutely outstanding fleece. Every cria of his on this farm has greatly improved EPDs, and the future offspring out of these crias will be equally impressive. As the original Legacy died in 2008, a breeding to this boy or our other Legacy son, Crescent Moon's Legacy de Oro, will definitely get you a recognizable slice of the Legacy heritage. We are charging $1500 for driveby breedings, or $2500 for the full three month stay, with pregnancy testing included. 2011 and 2012 crias fleece tests have come back, with all fleeces from Rockerfeller crias ranging from 15 to 18 microns with high frequency crimp and from 0.03 to 1% fiber over 30 microns. These tests also came back with mid 40 to high 50 percent curvature of crimp. This boy throws some gorgeous crias...many with color now that we are breeding to girls with color. He usually throws fleece darker than the color of the dam.

Moonshadow's Bootlegger

HuacayaHerdsire (Male)White
AOA# 31733885DOB: 7/14/200915 yrs
We purchased this fabulous male from Moonshadow Alpaca Ranch in early 2012. We were truly impressed by their mastery of genetic traits in breeding this herdsire. He is a great looker, an extremely friendly male, and has splendid fleece. His sire, Paladin, is a Reserve Color Champion, with great density and fineness. His dam, Moonshadow's Dreamboat Annie, is a blue ribbon winning daughter of Christopher-B, who has a stellar record of blue ribbons, Championships, and Get of Sire wins. Other ancestors include PHA El Viento, Caligula, Tocto, El Moustachio, Peruvian Yupanqui, and CPeruvian Ultima. Bootlegger's histogram shows extreme fineness, a low SD, 0.06% fiber over 30 microns, and an extreme 60 degree curvature. We shall be using him with some of our females out of our first female, AJ's Peruvian White Rose. Her sire was Accoyo Pachacuti, and her grandsire, Accoyo Vengador. She has an extremely low SD and a C of V in the low teens that she gives to her offspring. She also has passed on extreme density to all her crias. Crossing them with Bootlegger's attributes of extreme fineness and crimp should create some wonderful crias. WELL, GUESS WHAT?? WE HAVE TWO MALES OUT OF BOOTLEGGER. ALPACA ALLEY'S LIGHTNING IS OUT OF AJ'S PERUVIAN WHITE DAISY, AND HAS 8" ANNUALIZED FIBER GROWTH, IN GLEAMING WHITE. THE OTHER MALE, ARI PENDING, IS MOONSHINE, OUT OF ALPACA ALLEY'S PERUVIAN MOON BEAM. HIS FLEECE IS ANNUALIZED AT 5". WE ARE TESTING FOR EPD'S AT THE MOMENT. Come to our farm and see this boy and other superb herdsires. Perhaps you could be convinced to purchase a breeding to this male.

Description

This girl has fabulous fleece and genetics. However, she does not like having pictures taken! Show up with a camera and she hunches over like an old noodle. Funny! However, she has million dollar genetics and fleece. Her sire is our ATV Rockerfeller, out of Accoyo Legacy, Accoyo Elite, and Peruvian Don Julio, genetics used by the big boys. Her dam is Peruvian Grace, out of a NWA Studmaster Hemi-accoyo, Alberta Rose's Hercules, with Camilio, Hemingway, and Peruvian Don Julio in his background. Her granddam is out of Studmaster Pachacuti, and Accoyo Vengador, a macho famous for the consistency and fineness of his fiber. Her grand-dam also has fiber in the top 1% of EPD's tested in the country for 2012 and 2013. This girl has an MFD of 18.7, with an SD of 4.1 and CofV of 22.0%. Fibers greater than 30 micron-0.7%. Her crimp curvature is 43.1. AND, the girl is very dense! The girls out of Peruvian White Rose get progressively denser as time goes on! They also get somewhat larger as well. Rose's girls are not little things, oh no! Come take a look at her, or buy her while she is up for sale. She will be a keeper for you, we think. By the way, her bite is good. She is bred to Moonshadow's Bootlegger, who has fabulous champion winning genetics on all sides of his pedigree. Can't wait to see the results.
