His sire is the famous, full Accoyo Inca owned by Latah Creek and his dam, Snowmass Nina, has an extensive pedigree including Uribe and Bruxo. She had an impressive show career at the largest national shows prior to being bred and earned a Blue Ribbon at the AOBA National show in her 3rd fleece having just weaned Top Brass. Judge Mike Safley shared very positive comments regarding her regrowth, luster and lock, and strong conformation. (She was on her way to breed to JAX Crossfire at Ameripaca.) In his first show the judge remarked about Top Brass that, "his luster knocks your socks off". All judges since have spoken of his outstanding luster and excellent conformation saying he has all the attributes sought in a herdsire.
