Dixie just never missed in the 2007 show season. She has excellent conformation, a nice suri head and wonderful fleece with independent lock, luster and density. She carries herself proudly and caught the judge's eye each time as she first walked into the ring. She is a Diamond River, son of Accoyo Ace, daughter and is bred to full Champion Peruvian Wyldfyre, for a July 2011 cria. Dixie has a spot of dark fawn on her hip and a few fawn locks in her top knot. We are hopeful for a 2011 cria rich in color. She did it. Her 2011 son, Fyred Up, is dark brown with excellent luster and density and will debut at the Futurity in 2012. The Puddles in Dixie's name comes from her dam who was born in a puddle.

Description

Pacesetter has it all and is becoming an outstanding herdsire. Density with good coverage, lock, well balanced conformation and great luster. Pace is 3/4 Accoyo with genetics from Torbio, Rockstar, Ace, Diamond River and Accoyo Luna, dam of the late Baron Lafite. His dam, Dixie, is a five time Champion and his sire, Champion Accoyo DaVinci, needs no introduction. Pacesetter had a strong show career as a juvenile and then developed a fleece break that eliminated him from competition as a yearling. We feel he would have earned high awardsl and placed as well, or better, than his older half brother, Futurity Champ High Stakes. They share the same dam. Pace has settled females and is available for breeding. He has shown as beige and we feel will pass color as his dam and sire have done.
